As Florida Signs Law to Protect Children, New Jersey Plans to Teach Gender Identity and Masturbation

Students as young as ten years old, attending New Jersey public schools are about to be taught about puberty blockers being a way to “manage” puberty. They will also be taught about masturbation and how it is a “healthy” way to relieve stress “a few times a day.”

According to a lesson plan sample – currently being reviewed by state school districts – New Jersey school kids will start taking lessons about gender identity – taking effect in September.

Parents were given multiple sample lesson plans at the Westfield Board of Education’s Feb. 22 meeting. The samples appear to be part of the new sex education curriculum.

Republican State Sen. Holly Schepisi, was sent the sample materials by parents. Sharing the materials through Dropbox, the State Sen. said the materials are “completely overboard with cringy detail for young kids.”

One proposed lesson plan, targeted at fifth grade students, is called “It’s All about the Hormones,” and requires the students to watch an animated video called, “Puberty and Transgender Youth,” produced by the AMAZE organization.

“Whether you identify as male, female, gender queer or something else, you’re perfectly normal, and there are lots of ways to manage puberty so that it can be a fun, exciting time rather than a scary or stressful one,” the video says.

“If you feel you want more time to explore how you feel about your gender before your body starts to change, it’s important to talk with a parent, counselor, therapist or doctor about the feelings you have regarding your gender,” the video states. “After some discussion and counseling, you may be referred to an endocrinologist. Endocrinologists specialize in hormones, and they’re the most likely to prescribe puberty blockers for someone who wants them. Puberty blockers are medications that will stop your body from changing.”

Other lessons, push videos that talk about the subject of puberty and sexual anatomy.

One of the video materials, called, “Masturbation: Totally Normal,” teaches children that masturbating up to “a few times a day” is a “physically safe way to express sexual feelings.”

A video called “What is Love Anyway?,” instructs children about sexual orientation.

“While many people know their sexual orientation at a very young age, it is also common at this age to feel confused about your thoughts and feelings regarding who you find attractive,” the video says. “In fact, you may find yourself thinking about people of the same sex and of the opposite sex and be unsure.”

Fox News Digital was told by a spokesperson from Westfield Public Schools, that the materials were a “sample list of resources” and was not yet official policy.

“During a presentation at the Feb. 22 Board of Education meeting, we provided an update on the district’s work to revise the Comprehensive Health and Physical Education curriculum,” Superintendent Dr. Raymond González said. “The presentation included a sample list of resources aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards to be considered as school districts work on revisions to the health and PE curriculum,”

“We made it clear at the meeting and subsequent meetings that these are resources only – they are not state-mandated – and that the district is in the process of developing its revised curriculum to meet state standards,” the superintendent added.

The superintendent did not comment on the videos, however, when Fox News Digital requested it on Monday.

State Sen. Schepisi said the proposed lesson plans go too far.

“I truly think New Jersey has lost its damn mind,” she wrote.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said it’s  “just a further indication of the crazy liberal policies of my successor, Phil Murphy.”

“He’s on the left of the progressive movement, and this kind of stuff just should not be going on,” Christie told Fox News Radio on Friday. “But the fact is that the individual school districts in New Jersey feel empowered by the people who are now in charge of education. Phil Murphy, the governor of New Jersey and his, you know, the people he’s absolutely beholden to the teachers union and the mayor in New Jersey. Those are the people who are running the show now, and it’s just wrong.”

Gov. Murphy told Fox News that “some are using this as an opportunity to score political points and to further divide us – us vs. them – and I say that on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ communities.”

He added that he was “absolutely” open to hearing from people who think the standards “need to be adjusted or altered.”

  1. If New “JERKY” is to survive then they MUST REMOVE this IDIOTIC POS from office. He is totally destroying the state. He is proving to be a BIGGER FOOL than (fraud) Biden. New “JERKY” has sunk to being the WORST state in the union, even lower than Californication.

    1. EXACTLY.
And the sleazeball apparently believes NJ young people are too stupid to figure out how to masturbate.

NJ follows BiteMe into the sewer.
      LET’S GO BRANDON
      FJB AND PM

  2. The teachings in some schools nowdays is absolutely sick!!! Who gives them the right to do this to us and our children? My kids are grown, but my grandkids would have to go through this if it were to get approved in my state! Something needs to be done to stop this!!!

    1. SHhhhhssshhh WE don’t want all of these lunatics coming here – they are fine where they are at. WE have enopugh already. There are ONLY about 30,000,000 people in all of Canada – Plenty of room up there.

  3. The people who cannot enforce their own gun laws demand more gun laws to try and stop all the shootings in their cities. They can’t control the drug overdose epidemics and lives ruined by drugs in their communities, so they give away FREE crackpipes. Now these same people want to teach 4–7-year-old CHILDREN about sex. And they wonder why the need so many damned abortions. IT is absolutely true – “You Can’t Fix Stupid”.

  4. VERY SAD THAT NEW JERKY HAS TOO MANY BLIND MINDED IMBECILES WHO DIDN’T VOTE FOR JACK CIATTARELLI FOR GOVERNOR I.E. LAST YEAR!!!!

  5. Sex education belongs at home..children 4 thru 10 only want to go to school and play with their friends…Sex education has no place in school…I’m horrified at the things I have been reading…the people that r pushing for such untimely info are insane…How about concentrating on teaching children how to read, write and learn math

    1. The commie socialist traitors are running schools in this state. I pray they they suffer during their time in hell when they die.

  6. I wish to God that we could move out of New Jersey, but we can’t. Murphy has to be removed from office now. The demonrats are killing this country.
