Biden Challenges Reporter To A Fight

Joe Biden’s recent interview with TIME offers all the justification you need to understand why the Department of Justice is making every effort to prevent his special counsel interview from taking place. To say that this went completely insane might be taking it a bit too lightly. Maybe I ought to have tweaked the headline a little more.

Yes, it is that awful, as demonstrated by the crescendo in which the US President challenges the reporter he is interviewing to a duel. We’ll get there, but first, let’s review this discussion about inflation, which TIME fact-checked.

“Wage increases have outpaced the cost of inflation,” states Biden in a completely nonsensical statement. Rather than completing his argument—which is untrue—he goes on an irrational tirade about “price gouging” and “shrinkflation.” After reading this sentence, try to understand it.

“You have everything from shrinkflation to the way they’re artificially moving dramatically to increase their profits.”

None of the things the president stated are true, as TIME’s fact-check makes clear. Pay has not kept up with inflation under Biden’s presidency. Nor is there any proof that the current state of affairs is the product of “price gouging.” Moreover, inflation leads to “shrinkflation.” In an effort to maintain cheap pricing, businesses reduce the amount of merchandise they offer.

In any case, the longer the interview lasted, the worse things got, so Biden really shouldn’t have done it. Here he is, conflating Xi Jinping with Vladimir Putin. To be clear, TIME had to provide an editor’s note.

Given the geopolitical stakes, I would venture to advise that the next president shouldn’t consistently mix up nations and leaders. However, Biden has become accustomed to this kind of behavior. It’s just not possible for his brain to process information quickly enough, and when he finds himself in a position where he has to respond to inquiries, things will go horribly wrong.

And after that, this. Then this happened.

“For two-term presidents, foreign policy often takes up the latter two years of their term. When you quit your job, you would have been 86 years old, making you currently 81. Large majorities of Americans, including members of the Democratic Party, inform pollsters that you are too elderly to be a leader. Could an 85-year-old man like you really accomplish this kind of work? Biden: I’m more capable of doing this than anyone you know. You’re staring at me, so I’m confident I can take you too.

81-year-old Joe Biden is weak and has trouble climbing stairs, but he chose to become irate and challenge a reporter to a fight. What a scene. “I can take you too,” declares the President of the United States of America. Do you feel the norms are returning?

The interview doesn’t get much better from here. Click this link to view the entire thing.

Although Biden is ultimately responsible for his actions, why are his handlers placing him in such risky situations? And it occurred at one of the friendliest outlets available. Just picture his appearance at the debates if he encounters even the smallest resistance from a moderator. People close to Biden are too afraid to keep him out of the spotlight because he is senile. It’s not a good combo.

  3. Oh come on! Challenging a reporter to a fight? Ridiculous! But—— it proves Biden is a big mouth bully, take him up on his threat and he would scamper off like the rat he is! Or scream for his secret service detail to protect him. And THIS is the supposed leader of our country? What an absolute ass he is! Get him out, he is an embarrassment to our country!
