Biden Let a Killer Walk – Trump Made Sure He’s Never Coming Back

How many times does a criminal have to be deported before Democrats admit their border policies are a total failure?

Edgar Batista Matos, a Dominican national wanted for human smuggling that killed three minors, has just been deported—for the fifth time. Yes, you read that right. Five.

Matos, 36, was finally sent back to the Dominican Republic earlier this week after ICE officers in Miami put him on a removal flight. Dominican authorities were waiting for him when he landed, immediately arresting him for his alleged crimes.

But here’s the real question: Why was this guy in the U.S. again in the first place?

Matos was first deported back in 2010 after sneaking into Puerto Rico illegally. Since then, he’s been found and kicked out in 2011, 2019, and 2023—and yet, somehow, he kept making his way back in.

Let’s be real. This is what happens when leftist open border policies turn our immigration system into a revolving door for criminals.

The Border Crisis That Never Ends

ICE officials described Matos’ crimes as part of a deadly “alien smuggling venture” that left three children dead. And yet, despite being deported multiple times, he kept coming back—because under weak border policies, there’s no real deterrent.

Instead of enforcing strict immigration laws, the Biden administration spent four years prioritizing amnesty, handouts, and sanctuary policies—making it easier for criminals like Matos to re-enter the country.

Thankfully, President Trump is back in charge and actually enforcing the law. His administration has made it crystal clear that criminals who exploit our broken border system won’t get another chance.

Trump’s Immigration Crackdown Is Just Getting Started

Matos’ case is exactly why ICE is prioritizing the arrest and removal of criminal fugitives. As Miami ICE Director Juan Lopez Vega put it: “Our communities are safer and more secure” now that he’s finally off our streets.

But let’s not kid ourselves—for every one Matos caught and deported, how many more are still out there?

The Trump administration is working fast to clean up the immigration mess left behind by Biden, but the fight isn’t over. The only way to truly fix this crisis is to seal the border, increase deportations, and hold criminals accountable.

Anything less? That’s just an invitation for more Matos-like criminals to walk right back in.
