Both Joe Biden and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre used the excuse that they were somehow dealing with a new “pattern” that wasn’t their fault when asked why they hadn’t secured the border.
First, as we mentioned, Joe Biden made these comments, claiming that the situation had changed since individuals were now traveling from Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua rather than Central America and Mexico. Um, Joe? A section of Central America IS Nicaragua. And this is false; immigrants continue to arrive from Central America and other nations across the globe. They don’t simply come from Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela. And although there has recently been a greater migration from Venezuela, they have long been arriving from Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. When Biden makes statements like this, he just serves to further demonstrate his lack of knowledge on the subject. His refusal to address the issue since taking office is what’s “new.”
Both Biden and Jean-Pierre stated that “it would not be “logical to send them back since they were fleeing Communism.” Now, this is an interesting response and an own goal because, while attempting to divert attention from the fact that they have done nothing to address the border crisis, Biden and the progressive Jean-Pierre are inadvertently acknowledging the issue with extreme leftism—namely, that people want to leave it. Even though some individuals fleeing Communism may have valid asylum claims (despite the fact that they most likely traveled through other nations where they could file for asylum before arriving in the United States), this does not mean that you should open the door to everyone, as the White House appears to be advocating.
However, KJP also scored another own goal during her briefing. I previously discussed the claim that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis may have been transporting a group of undocumented immigrants to an airport close to Joe Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Tuesday.
According to Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House was “coordinating with regional authorities over potential DeSantis flights carrying illegal aliens to Delaware.”
So, I have a significant query here. When it comes to Delaware, why are they now “coordinating” when the Biden team has been releasing individuals all across Texas and flying people across the country – all without warning? Where is the situation at the border being “monitored”? Texas and Arizona have been pleading for assistance for the past two years, but the Biden campaign has shown little interest in “coordinating” to find a solution. In the city of El Paso, 2,000 individuals are dropped off each day.
Now that they are part of the issue, even New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago all appear to have gotten nothing when it comes to requesting assistance from the federal government. With all these locations, there ought to be extensive cooperation, yet there hasn’t been any. Why is the White House “coordinating” even before passengers are dropped off in Delaware or Rehoboth Beach? It couldn’t possibly be related to the fact that Joe Biden lives there, could it?
