Since most prominent pollsters continue to employ registered voter screens rather than likely voter screens, which results in a projection of a supportive climate for Democrats, it is certainly garbage in, garbage out.
So what is the story? Even though it happened in 2010, 2014, and 2018, you’re meant to think that the significant GOP turnout advantage during the primaries won’t carry over to the general election. Furthermore, despite the fact that presidential approval has historically been important in midterm elections, you are expected to assume that it is no longer important.
In other words, you should disregard all you know about politics and elections because, according to a registered voter study by Pollsters Inc., the electorate will be D+8. However, the story will change, as I said back in the summer, if prominent posters are displayed on screens in front of potential voters.
Finally, it should be noted that the big pollsters have not yet begun using probable voter screens. Republican excitement is high, as seen by comparisons of primary turnout, thus probable voter screens should further tilt these results in the GOP’s favor, and they often do.
As expected, ABC/WaPo has released its first significant offering of the season, and it has Democrats fuming and once more disliking polls. On the general election ballot, Republicans have a huge five-point lead over Democrats. Only 39% of people support Joe Biden.
You can hear the left screaming as they come to terms with the fact that the polls they’ve grown to adore will behave as they always do in the weeks leading up to an election. In particular, tighten in favor of the party that is currently in opposition when more probable voter screens are used. But they can’t claim that I didn’t warn them.
However, I have more unfavorable news. There isn’t much doubt about which way undecided voters will break in a first-term midterm election with a president who has fallen apart. All those surveys indicating a 7–10% undecided rate? A majority of those voters will support the GOP in November, barring a miracle that will defy history, which I believe won’t happen. In other words, things only get worse for Democrats from here.
The findings at the issue level in the ABC/WaPo poll are dreadful for Democrats. Those who disregard the fundamentals do so at their own peril, to reiterate.
What Cook Political and 538, two election rating websites, are trying to sell you is as follows: that none of the fundamentals matter amid a collapsing stock market, extreme inflation, skyrocketing interest rates, an apparent border crisis, and a collapsing White House. It somehow adds up to a Democrat turnout advantage that Republicans have a double-digit lead on the one topic voters feel is most important. You say that sounds right?
I can’t stop people from being hope-sick since polling averages have proven to be wildly incorrect in the past. Have at it, Democrats, if that’s what you want. It will just enhance the sweetness of the implosion on election night.

I’ve never been polled. I must be the wrong demographic.
I generally do not trust polling, period. They are usually wrong, they over poll democrats, conservatives are less likely to talk to them because of the inherent bias of all media sources. The frame the questions in a way they can manipulate what they find, and they usually poll in large metropolitan areas. What ever they say you can bet its 5% off to the liberal side.
The only thing that makes sense is the Awakening the realizations of each and every American. “Thankfully” voters have now realized the blood sweat and tears that our beautiful soldiers that fought for our freedoms in our country and to keep us safe didn’t die in vain. The American Patriots in this country have never Forgotten what they died for.

I am concerned – as in MI, our state has placed an abortion question concerning letting abortion become legal. They are playing this to get more women to register and get out to the polls on election day. In 2018 it was the liberal ploy to steal the elections by putting the “legalization of Marijuana” on the ballot. More voters, supposedly came out in droves to vote for D’s. So baby killing and pot smoking are going to kill the good, life-loving, family values, Christian, Conservative votes. The question for the 2018 election is this: If we have 83 counties in MI and only 13 turned blue, how is this a fair election? Many suspicious votes there! And if we have a Red state house and state senate, why do we have Blue governor, AG and SOS??? (And may I add, very bad ones!!) GET OUT THE VOTE IN NOVEMBER & VOTE RED!
Pelosi said one thing a while back that, while she was referring to AOC’s district, would apply to all still voting Democrat. They would vote for a glass of water if it had a D on it.
