Dems Demand Submission, Hand GOP Ultimatums on Passing Liberal Agenda

High-ranking Democrats are threatening Republicans with what appears to be a new definition of “unity.” Either Republicans bow and grovel the way Obama did before foreign leaders, or they will steamroll them and implement their radical liberal agenda.

“Joe Biden made much of the word unity. Nothing that Joe Biden has done since his inauguration speech demonstrates any form of unity. It’s conformity. Conformity,” conservative talk show host Mark Levin said. “He’s there proudly signing one executive order after another. These executive orders do what? Taxpayer-paid-for abortion on demand, even one minute before birth. The Paris climate accords, which ought to be a treaty, which ties our hands, plus his war on American energy. Who benefits from that? Communist China, of course.”

Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin has already gone on the record stating that now-Minority Leader Mitch McConnel and GOP senators will vote against their own constituency or Democrats will galvanize power in an unprecedented fashion.

“It gets down to the bottom line here. The American people want us to take action on this pandemic, on the economy, and on a host of other issues,” Sen. Durbin said on Meet the Press. “If this filibuster has become so common in the Senate that we can’t act … we should consider changing the rule under those circumstances.”

The Senate cloture rule requires 60 members to agree to end debate on legislation and hold a vote. The long-held tradition of the U.S. Senate ensures that major legislation requires 60 of 100 votes to pass without a filibuster. This threshold has been the benchmark that insolates everyday Americans from the tyranny of the majority. If the technical mechanism were to be removed, Democrats would be able to ram through every whimsical piece of legislation. They would effectively turn Washington’s political power into a dictatorship overnight. But tyranny is precisely what socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, who caucuses with Democrats, is also advocating.

“We are going to use reconciliation, that is 50 votes in the Senate plus the vice president, to pass legislation desperately needed by working families in this country right now,” Sen. Sanders said.

Joe Biden has proposed another $1.9 trillion in deficit spending. His administration talks about getting working families economic relief. But the last package was weighed down with pork spending that sent hundreds of millions in borrowed money to liberal institutions. It appears Democrats plan to funnel millions more to their voting base to maintain power. Establishment and fake news media outlets are providing a platform for Democrats to deliver an economic relief narrative. The facts tell a vastly different story.

Democrats routinely threaten to pack the U.S. Supreme Court by seating as many political activists on the bench as they need to ensure rulings are handed down in their favor. It’s no secret the Democrats see the world through a skewed lens in which Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters do not spread COVID-19 or commit looting, arson, and assault crimes. Their new definition of “unity” seems eerily similar to that of the Chinese Communist Party that black-bags dissenters and sends them to re-education camps.
