Dems Stoop To ‘Mob Rule’ In SCOTUS Hearings

Liberals and their mouthpieces would have everyday Americans believe that conservatives are the problem in Washington, D.C., but their willingness to turn the U.S. Supreme Court nomination hearings into a mob rule melee paints a telling portrait about resist, obstruct and harass Democrats.

Day 1 of the Brett Kavanaugh hearings were met by disorder as high-ranking Democrats interrupted and shouted over Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley as he attempted to make his opening remarks. It took more than an hour and 15 minutes for Sen. Grassley to restore order and delivery his statement. All told Democrats and their operatives interrupted the proceeding a staggering 63 times before lunch.

Sen. Grassley, a veteran U.S. congressman and senator from Iowa dating back to 1975, was taken aback by the intimidation tactics employed by members of Congress.

“This is something I’ve never seen before in 15 Supreme Court nominations,” Sen. Grassley reportedly said. Other Senators agreed with the statesman’s assessment.

“This is the first confirmation hearing subject to mob rule,” Texas Sen. John Cornyn reportedly said. But perhaps Texas Sen. Ted Cruz put his finger on the truth about the extremism by left-wing senators.

“I believe this fight is nothing more and nothing less than an attempt by our Democratic colleagues to relitigate the 2016 presidential election,” Sen. Cruz reportedly said.

Ever since the historic win by pres. Donald J. Trump, Democrats have been reeling from repeated loss after loss on issues. The far left is fast-discovering you don’t nominate judges when you suffer a national backlash by voters.

Following the despicable behavior by the left at the Kavanaugh hearings, news broke that high-ranking Democrats threw in with radicals to upend the proceedings.

Breitbart, NBC and others were swift to report that leading Democrats participated in a conference call to force mob rule. Based on the social media posts by these and other outlets, Republican Sen. Thom Tillis confronted Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin.

“I’m reviewing a tweet by NBC that said ‘Democrats plotted coordinated protest strategy over the holiday weekend all agreed to disrupt and protest the hearing, sources tell me.’ And, subsequent, ‘Dem leader Chuck Schumer led a phone call, and committee members are executing now,’ Sen. Tillis reportedly said.

Durbin attempted to deflect news about the conference call to coordinate insurgency.

“Mr. Chairman, there was a phone conference yesterday, and I can tell you, at the time of the phone conference, many issues were raised,” the Democrat reportedly said.

Unfortunately for Sen. Durbin, other media outlets confirmed that NBC was correct. Democratic leadership conspired with radicals to disrupt one of the most important and cherished confirmation hearings, the selection of a citizen to the highest court in the land.

“CBS News’ Nancy Cordes reports that a source familiar with the discussions confirms that Sen. Schumer held a conference call with Judiciary Committee democrats over the Labor Day weekend to discuss the strategy they are now deploying in a coordinated manner, interrupting the start of the hearing to call – one after the other – for a delay in the proceedings until senators get all the Kavanaugh documents they want and have time to read them,” CBS confirmed.

Democrats had insisted on more than 1 million documents and wanted a massive research project into any and all emails relating to Judge Kavanaugh during the George W. Bush presidency. The request was denied because it could take more than a year and cost taxpayers tens of millions.

Caught in a web of deceit, Sen. Durbin would say, “What we’ve heard is the noise of democracy.”

A reported 70 people were arrested and removed during the first day of the Supreme Court nomination hearings. Americans know now that Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer and other disgraceful Democrats on the committee threw in with rowdies to upend the process. But what many people are not fully aware of is that these same Democrats are trying to cash in on mob rule.

Presidential hopefuls such as senators Kamala Harris and Corey Booker are attempting to endear themselves to the radical financial backers of the DNC. Sen. Booker took things one step further.

During the turmoil created by liberal extremists, Sen. Booker literally sent out an email pushing a ticketed fundraising event while disrupting the Supreme Court confirmation hearing. Everyday Americans will think long and hard about voting for Democrats in November. A majority would allow the mob to rule.
