Election 2020: Biden Threatens To Destabilize Newly-Minted Middle East Peace

The Trump Administration brokered a fragile peace in the Middle East that could quickly unravel if Democrat Joe Biden wins the White House.

In a rare move widely considered political suicide, U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman denounced Biden for his years of empowering the Iranian regime to sow terror and discord throughout the region.

“If Biden wins, we will see a policy shift that, in my personal opinion, will be wrong and will be bad for the region, including for Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait,” Friedman said. The ambassador pointed to the years of placating the world’s top funder of terrorism and the infamous Iran nuclear deal that emboldened radical extremists.

“It created a path for Iran to get a nuclear weapon. As you know, Joe Biden was part of the Obama Administration that negotiated and implemented the Iran deal, something that President Trump — and I share his view — thinks was the worst international deal the U.S. has ever entered into,” Friedman added.

These are powerful words from a diplomat who understands full well calling Biden out on the failed Middle East policies would result in his prompt firing should the Democrat prevail in the Electoral College. Although former President Barack Obama and Biden denied the facts at the time, Iran took more than a $150-billion payout from the previous administration. That money was used to indiscriminately to kill American soldiers and innocent civilians.

“Iran’s hostilities substantially increased after the foolish Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2013 and they were given $150 billion, not to mention $1.8 billion in cash,” President Donald Trump said. “Then, Iran went on a terror spree, funded by the money from the deal and created hell in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Iraq.”

The fake news media has repeatedly tried to downplay the fact that Obama and Biden delivered cash-money to Iran. Those greenbacks were photographed on pallets and used to support terror organizations such as Hezbollah, Shia militias, and Hamas, among others. Iranian General Qasem Soleimani — who was killed by a Trump-ordered strike — orchestrated and funded the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) program that killed and crippled military personnel, as well as civilian adults and children.

Only by exiting the Iran nuclear pact and putting Iran in an economic stranglehold was the Trump Administration able to hamstring Iran’s warmongering efforts. All that will come to an abrupt end should Biden win the presidency and revert back to the failed policies of the past.

“Our experience with the Iranian regime has taught us that partial solutions or appeasement will not stop its threats to international peace and security,” Saudi Arabia’s King Salman said. “This terrorist organization must be disarmed.”

Democrats opposed President Trump exiting the Iran nuclear deal, and are expected to pressure Biden to rejoin what the previous administration considered a signature accomplishment. By contrast, the Trump Administration’s “maximum pressure” foreign policy delivered the Abraham Accord peace deals between Israel, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. Other Muslim countries in the region are expected to follow suit, but only if President Trump earns for more years.
