An Arkansas judge is losing patience with the former vice president’s unruly adult son.
Hunter Biden and his legal team have been trying to move a scheduled March deposition to April, telling the judge that Hunter isn’t available to come to court on March 11 or 12. The problem is, Hunter Biden already told the court that he is “unemployed,” and so his legal team couldn’t give a valid excuse for his refusal to show up for the deposition as scheduled. While he has taken up painting what his wife calls abstract, dark art, his new hobby is hardly an excuse for failing to provide for the young child he had out of wedlock with a local stripper.
Biden’s legal problems began last year when Lunden Roberts came forward and reported that former Vice President Joe Biden’s son was the father of her child. Hunter initially tried to deny it, but a DNA test made it clear that he was indeed the child’s biological father. Not surprisingly, Ms. Roberts has gone after Hunter Biden for child support while he has attempted to avoid paying his fair share by stating that he isn’t currently working.
Many conservatives are hoping that the case will shed some light on Hunter Biden’s past shady financial deals. It is now common knowledge that he earned massive amounts of money working in Ukraine for Burisma, and the odds are that not all of the work he did was honest or even fully legal.
Despite all of this, the young Biden’s legal team has done everything in its power to prevent his financial records from going public. The latest move to delay the case likely has nothing to do with Biden’s “busy schedule,” but rather former the senior Biden’s presidential campaign. An early March deposition could leak unsavory facts right as the former VP is receives a much needed boost to what’s becoming a two-way contest against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
It seems, however, that the Arkansas judge in the case cares little for political or legal maneuvering. She made it crystal clear that Hunter Biden had to appear for the deposition as scheduled, telling them furiously that the only excuse she would accept for his absence is that his hair caught fire.
One would wonder if Biden would actually go to such lengths given the fact that he has a lot to lose if the case shines a negative light on his daddy’s campaign.
Hunter Biden earned hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to the fact that Joe Biden was a senior member of former President Barack Obama’s cabinet. If Joe Biden is elected president this year, the young Biden could make off with a tidy sum of money.
While it remains to be seen how the case will play out, what can be said for certain the Biden camp, the DNC, and the mainstream media that will undoubtedly provide all the cover-up they need would like to bury this case as quickly as possible.
