The 2016 Presidential election is almost a distant memory, and President Trump and his administration are hard at work making our nation great again. There’s one person, however, that just can’t seem to let the election go – Hillary Clinton.
Since her loss in November 2016, Clinton has gone on to blame everything and everyone (other than herself, of course) for her monumental defeat. Recently, Fox News published a list that got a lot of attention. This list detailed everyone Clinton has blamed, and it’s a long one. To give a complete window into the extent of Clinton’s utter inability to accept responsibility, we thought we’d expound a little further on everyone and everything she has blamed.
So here it is, the complete list of everything and everyone Hillary Clinton has blamed for her loss:
The FBI
Since the FBI was in charge of investigating Clinton’s inappropriate handling of classified information, the organization and then-director James Comey certainly helped bring some of Clinton’s wrongdoings to light. While most of the US was thankful for this information, Clinton was resentful, saying, “I was on the way to winning until a combination of (FBI Director) Jim Comey’s letter on Oct. 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off.”
Russia
Speaking of Russia, Clinton has had plenty more to say on how the foreign nation was somehow inexplicably responsible for swaying American voters. In the same interview where Clinton pointed fingers at the FBI, she said, “He (Russian President Vladimir Putin) certainly interfered in our election, and it’s clear he interfered to hurt me and help my opponent.”
Misogynists
Asked whether Clinton was a victim of misogyny in her election loss, she responded, “Yes, I do think it played a role.”
Barack Obama
Hillary Clinton, at one point, blamed her loss on the fact that Barack Obama had won two terms and people were wanting change. While people were certainly wanting change, it’s ironic that Clinton blames Obama for making them want it – suggesting the American people sought to distance themselves from the left-wing agenda Clinton herself campaigned on.
Low Information Voters
Clinton once referred to Trump voters, a group of people that comprise half of the nation, as “a basket of deplorables”. After her loss, Clinton went on to insist that anyone who voted for Trump only did so because they were “low information voters”.
Bad Polling Numbers
In 2016, the silent majority were severely underestimated, and the polls were dead wrong. By some strange logic, though, Clinton blamed these bad polling numbers for her loss, reasoning that since everyone assumed she would win no one went out and voted for her.
“Fake News”
Post-election, Clinton went on the warpath against “fake news” – a term she used to refer to any news she didn’t agree with or didn’t want published. In blaming “fake news”, Clinton went after Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, The New York Times, cable news, television executives, and “content farms in Macedonia”, saying that all of these mediums were responsible for publishing the news that caused her to lose.
Republicans
Both during the election and after, Clinton blamed the Republican party for running a “smear campaign” on her, insinuating that politicians doing their job and investigating troubling issues such as Benghazi and her illegal email servers is nothing more than a “smear campaign”
Democrats
Not one to exclude anybody when it comes to the blame game, Clinton pointed her finger at the Democratic Party as well. Speaking on the DNC, Clinton said “Its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong”. Clinton even blamed Democrats for not making the right documentaries to counter the conservative documentaries that helped expose her.
Suburban Women
Throughout the campaign, Clinton was confident that every woman in America was going to vote for her because…well, she’s a woman. When female voters proved to be much more intelligent and considerate of real political issues than Clinton gave them credit for, she blamed “suburban women” for her poor numbers.
More to Come…
Lately, Clinton has shown no sign of slowing down in her mission cast responsibility on every possible person, organization, and people group she can, and even her own party is getting tired of the act.
While the list of people and things Clinton has blamed is sure to grow even more in the coming months, at least we can all appreciate the fact that pointing fingers and complaining is the only thing left for Hillary Clinton to do these days.
