Hunter Biden Cornered Like An Escaped Convict, White House Scared

On Monday, The New York Post reported:

“As federal prosecutors get even closer to making a decision on whether to indict first son Hunter Biden for tax fraud as well as other offenses, the White House press staff denied The Post access to President Biden’s only midday public engagement this week.”

“The Post first reported in October 2020 on documents from the first son’s abandoned laptop exposing Joe Biden to business deals in China as well as Ukraine. The Post has closely examined Biden’s personal connections to Hunter’s international affairs.”

The exclusion from the event coincides with continued limits on press access put in place by Biden’s press team, with no justification given for the criteria used to choose reporters for significant presidential events. Simply stated, the White House continues to take considerable measures to regulate the press’s coverage of this administration.

Kelly Jane Torrance, the Post’s opinion editor, referred to the action as “definitely outrageous.”

According to The Post’s article, Hunter Biden’s legal counsel recently met with the Department of Justice’s attorneys, perhaps marking the end of the lengthy inquiry into his actions that started in 2018.

President Biden made the misleading promise that he would have a “major news conference” when he failed to answer questions from reporters. Republicans in Congress have subpoenaed an FBI dossier allegedly including an accusation that he received bribes. The press team has been screening journalists for over two years at significant indoor events, creating a concerning trend for press access. The White House did not reply to questions over The Post’s exclusion.

The White House has a history of limiting press access, and this time, the Post was barred from President Biden’s gathering. Despite pleas from the media to halt the murky procedure, the Biden administration has previously used a shortage of room as a justification to prescreen reporters admitted into significant presidential events.

Press authorities have declined to provide White House Correspondents’ Association leaders an explanation for their decision, and the selection criteria for reporters are still unknown. As a result, claims have been made that the administration is seeking to control press conferences by excluding the few reporters who would challenge him harshly.

The press staff recently codified a procedure to withdraw press credentials, significantly limiting journalists’ access. The White House did not respond to The Post’s questions over their omission from the event.

We don’t have to wonder what would have happened if former President Donald Trump had taken the same action, do we? However, as of the time of this writing, no criticism has come from left-leaning mainstream media sites. The problem is that Biden is aware that the press is biased against him and that he is unlikely to get any serious criticism from them. He may not be able to put off the issue for very long, however, if his son’s position grows even more dangerous.
