Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are reporting that a “shocking” classified memo indicates the Obama Administration may have conspired with like-minded DOJ and FBI officials to spy on and undermine Pres. Donald J. Trump.
The allegations point to an abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by senior Obama-era officials that targeted Pres. Trump during and after the campaign. Several Republicans are calling for key documents to be declassified and released to the public in what many are saying makes the Nixon Watergate Scandal look like a misdemeanor.
Iowa Rep. Steve King reportedly referred to the memo as “sickening,” and claims the actions detailed are “worse than Watergate.”
“You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That’s how alarming it is,” Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry reportedly said.
Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis, a Judiciary Committee member, tweeted “The classified report compiled by House Intelligence is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation.”
After examining the classified memo, Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee called for a vote to release it to the full House. Every Democrat voted to keep it secret from the legislative body and the American people.
Despite the mainstream media’s willingness to avoid covering the potential criminal activities of senior Obama Administration officials, investigative reporters have uncovered information that a romantic romp between a key FBI counter-intelligence agent and a DOJ lawyer may be at the roots of anti-Trump collusion.
Messages between agent Peter Strzok and attorney Lisa Page indicate an “insurance policy” to be used against Trump should he win the election. The source of that “policy” is said to be the salacious and false Fusion GPS “dossier” created by the infamous British spy Christopher Steel. The false dossier was paid for by the Hillary campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The erroneous document, however, was embraced by Obama-era law enforcement officials as a way to resurrect a failed FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Judiciary Subcommittee Chairman Lindsey Graham recently pressed for a criminal investigation of dossier author Christopher Steele.
Historians may recall that Watergate was nothing more than a burglary and document theft aimed at gaining a tactical campaign advantage. The illegal break-in cost Nixon his presidency as he resigned in disgrace. Fox News’ Sean Hannity recently dedicated a segment in an effort to shed light on this Obama-era corruption that may be the worst America has ever known.
“Remember, Watergate was a third-rate break-in. What we’re talking about tonight is the systematic abuse of power, the weaponizing of the powerful tools of intelligence, and the shredding of our Fourth Amendment constitutional rights that protect all of us against unlawful search and seizure,” Hannity said.
With the notorious Democrat-funded Fusion GPS dossier in hand, Obama officials were able to convince a FISA judge to provide them with a warrant to spy on then-candidate Trump surrogates under the pretense of “Russian Collusion.”
What sets the Obama Administration’s activity apart from Watergate is that Deep State Operatives such as Strzok and Page were able to leverage government resources with impunity to attack a political opponent and lay the groundwork for a bloodless coup. Connecting the dots, Hillary and Dems paid for a false dossier, funneled it to FBI and DOJ officials who then used it as a weapon against a political opponent and an “insurance policy” against a sitting president.
While the conspiracy to perpetrate a fraud on the FISA court and subsequent spying on the Trump campaign may rise to the level of a federal felonies, the question Americans should be asking is whether the “Russian Collusion” probe amounts to treason?
Since the election, Deep State operatives have worked tirelessly to “leak” false information to the left-leaning media in an effort to bring down the Trump Administration. The flagrantly false allegations in the Hillary-funded document are also the basis for the Mueller Investigation.
Democrats have also used the fake claims as the basis to bring impeachment proceedings. To date, 66 radical Democrats have voted to remove Pres. Trump based on the false “Russian Collusion” narrative.
If this were a Third World nation attempting to unseat a rightfully elected president, the U.N. would send military support to defend Democracy. But, in America, Deep State Democrats operate outside the law with impunity.
