Republicans Honor Trump – Resolution Angers Dems

With the support of many House Republicans, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has sponsored a measure requesting that Congress bestow the Congressional Gold Medal on former President Donald Trump.

The bill language stated that they would award the medal “in appreciation of his remarkable leadership and devotion to developing America’s diplomatic ties throughout his administration.”

Luna told Fox News Digital, “President Trump’s daring leadership rebuilt America as a recognized and appreciated worldwide force.” “It is time we honored a president who stood up for his nation and used daring diplomacy to bring about world peace. President Donald Trump definitely made America and the globe a safer place, despite the liberal media’s attempts to instill fear. I am submitting this legislation because it is one of our responsibilities as members of Congress to acknowledge people who have made important contributions to our country.

The measure also uses Trump’s summit with Kim Jong Un of North Korea, his role in the establishment of the Abraham Accords, and other accomplishments in international affairs to support Trump’s eligibility for the gold medal.

According to Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), who supported the proposal, “Donald J. Trump’s statesmanship and strong presidential leadership have sparked fervor and love of nation in millions of Americans.”

He declared, “It would be irresponsible for Congress to ignore him.” As he put peace via strength rather than never-ending international conflicts first, the Trump presidency brought about peace on a global scale. It is impossible to overstate Trump’s contributions to American history and his unwavering support of the American way of life. I am honored to stand with my colleagues in recognizing President Donald J. Trump for his extraordinary leadership and commitment to the United States.

Supporters of the proposal were Reps. Mike Waltz (R-FL), Bob Good (R-VA), Randy Weber (R-TX), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO).

Should Trump get the medal, he would be the first president to do so since Ronald Reagan and his spouse in 2000. The Republican-controlled House might approve the plan, but the Democratic-majority Senate is more likely to hold it up.

  1. Absolutely, the best President I have known in my lifetime, and I am 71 years old. MAGA!!!!

    1. I’m 67,and I agree. He even blisters past Ronald Reagen. Democrats are nothing but pure disasters for the people. While they persecute Trump and enrich themselves off the conservatives. I call for CIVIL WAR to eliminate Democratz from any political positions ever again.

    2. Well I agree and I am 85 years old, Wanda. I miss Trump and the America we had under him so much!!!

  2. Pat Donawa said it perfectly, it wit, “He is still our beloved President”.
Indeed! He is and I hope it all goes as he and all of us want it to. I think about it every day and spend some thought on it.
    Hugs, gweniem

  3. I have Questions for President Trump??? How do I get them to him?
I voted for him last time!! Probably will again.
But I have some concerns for our USA Seniors.
    Mr Trump or staff.

  4. The Greatest President in History deserves this and more. No other president has given so much and attacked so bad in history. He worked for we the people. He even donated his salary to others. He worked harder then any other President. Obama was to busy buying people and partying with elites. Basement boy is to busy on vacation and Clinton was to busy under his desk. President Trump the entire time of being attacked worked harder to accomplish so much. When President Trump holds rallies the people let him know they love him and have his back. Basement boy can’t even get anyone to show up unless paid. No one deserves top medals as much as President Trump. The only medals the democrats and rhinos deserve are for treason. Medal around ankles and wrists.

  5. Donald Trump has been the best President for our country. The economy, our safety with the wall and security, our relationships around the world, and people feeling more safe and secure
    with his polices .
