Silicon Valley Giants Are Either Liars Or Traitors — There is No In-Between

Congress hauled Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in for questioning after conservative voices were silenced during the run-up to the 2016 elections. Google covertly orchestrated operation “Dragonfly,” a search engine model that would help China’s Communist Party monitor and censor citizens like a 21st Century Big Bother. Twitter recently allowed China to flood its platform with COVID-19 propaganda to deflect responsibility. All of this nefarious activity under the guidance of the so-called “Masters of the Universe” begs one simple question: are they liars or traitors?

Some may recall Trump supporters Diamond & Silk were banned from Facebook when a left-wing zealot called the popular sisters a “threat to the community.” Zuckerberg reportedly apologized and restored their ability to post, at least on an ongoing basis. The social media platform also apologized to PragerU, stating that it “mistakenly removed” the fact-based educational video.

“The videos in question were mistakenly removed. While we continue to research what caused this error, we have restored the content because it does not break our Community Standards and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” a Facebook spokeswoman said at the time.

But Zuckerberg recently installed an Oversight Board in charge of censorship decisions. Calling the group “impartial” might earn praise from fake news outlets such as CNN, but their inherent biases are obvious.

The Oversight Board’s power majority include the likes of the radical left-wing editor of The Guardian Alan Rusbridger; Stanford U Professor Pamela Karlan (who testified against President Donald Trump during the impeachment witch hunt), and Columbia law Professor Jamal Greene (who worked for Senator Kamala Harris to target now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh).

Zuckerberg may be able to use these extremists to wash his hands of anti-free speech decisions. But if he wants to call the process “impartial,” Americans may want to call him a liar.

Although Facebook has emerged as the social media giant of anti-conservative bias, Google has amassed a disgraceful record of its own. Operation Dragonfly, for example, was underway until leaks surfaced that the search engine was working hand-in-glove with the communists. Google CEO Sundar Pichai discussed Dragonfly, stating, “We don’t know whether we could or would do this in China, but we felt it was important for us to explore.”

Only after facing a harsh public backlash and potential federal intervention did Google take its 100 technical experts off the project in July 2019. To say that borders on treason would be something of an understatement.

Although Google was willing to hand the Chinese regime a tool to crack down on free speech, it has routinely shutdown fact-based Prager U videos because they contain a pro-conservative narrative. Many Americans are unaware that Google owns and operates YouTube.

Prager U was forced to take YouTube to court to restore its factually correct educational videos. But the Google subsidiary used the Democrat playbook and pushed to have the case heard by the infamously biased Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Needless to say, the so-called “Nutty Ninth” handed their liberal comrades a win over conservative Prager U.

However, Circuit Judge Margaret McKeown inadvertently pointed out that YouTube’s marketing mantra that “everyone deserves to have a voice, and (the) world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories,” was not exactly truthful. The Democrat-appointed judge reportedly called that an “opinion” rather than a fact. One might more accurately call it lying.

Prager U is again suffering under an anti-American free speech ban on Facebook for producing compelling fact-based videos. YouTube continues to restrict its content, and Twitter reportedly allowed more than 90,000 communist party posts in April.

Liars or traitors? You decide.
