The sweeping November election losses suffered by the left has Democrats throwing support behind violent fascist gangs spilling blood on American streets in what looks like a Third-World coup.
Despite the outstanding efforts by Boston law enforcement to disarm and curtail the violence groups such as Antifa are well-known for, dozens were arrested opposing a Free Speech rally by conservative groups.
Self-proclaimed Antifa members thanked “Hillary Democrats” as they burned the American flag on the Boston streets. Boston Antifa Twitter posts included “Free Speech is Dead, Piss on its grave” and “Veterans don’t get a free pass. Today’s Nazi for defending freedom of speech yesterday.”
A Boston Antifa twitter account posted “Next time don’t bring your garbage rags to Boston” referring to Old Glory, and a woman was dragged down the street as violent anti-free speech thugs ripped it away from her.
Antifa and like-minded groups demonstrate a subversive anti-American sentiment on par with heinous groups found in the former ISIS caliphate.
Nancy Pelosi and Antifa Violence
The wave of escalating bloodshed and stymying of Constitutional rights has garnered disburting silent endorsement from Democratic politicians.
In June, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helped kick off the “Resistance Summer” that emboldened the aggressive groups who bash conservative groups during sometimes controversial but peaceful protests.
Some mainstream media outlets have managed to dub the leftist hate groups “counter-protestors” and argue that only white supremacists were responsible for the clashes that led to the death of a young paralegal, Heather Heyer. The defacing and destruction of public monuments was downplayed or ignored in the same outlets’ coverage.
In recent days, Pelosi continues to throw gasoline on the raging fire by supporting Antifa’s mindset that President Trump and the conservative agenda must be fought at all costs. She has backed a small group of far-left politicians calling for “censure” of the president, falsely claiming he does not denounce racism in America.
The president denounced violence promulgated by all parties in Charlottesville, and complimented those who acted peacefully and responsibly. Pandering to hate groups such as Antifa, Pelosi pledged to use “every avenue” to oppose Trump.
Chuck Schumer Does Not Denounce Left-Wing Violence
Perhaps no better metaphor exists to Sen. Chuck Schumer’s position on left-wing rioting than Simon and Garfunkel’s song “The Sounds of Silence.”
The silence by the Democratic Party leader has been deafening, and groups such as Antifa and extremists within the Black Lives Matter movement hear him loud and clear. Schumer repeatedly calls upon the president to denounce racist organizations, despite Trump being on the record of doing exactly that dozens of times. In turn, liberal media outlets fail to call on top Democrats, including Sen. Schumer, to denounce the widespread attacks by the radical Left.
Pushing the agenda forward, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and current spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee-Sanders have called on Schumer and other Democratic leaders to denounce Antifa violence. Despite police officers being targeted across the country in the name of Black Lives Matter … crickets.
It May Only Get Worse
Silence regarding worsening violent political behavior has made its way up the ranks.
A Missouri Democrat recently posted her desire for someone to assassinate Trump. State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a Democrat, made the post “I Hope Trump is assassinated!”
After refusing to apologize, Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens and Lt. Gov. Mike Parson called for her to be impeached and removed from the state legislature. She refused to retract the statement until conservative pressure was brought to bear saying, “Hell no!”
The two Republican leaders pushed further as the Secret Service opened an investigation despite Missouri Democrats remaining ominously silent on the matter. It’s clear that violent left-wing street gangs are taking signals from prominent Democratic politicians.
Considering all of this, it’s no surprise that average Americans have become increasingly fearful.
A petition to have Antifa dubbed a Domestic Terror Organization quickly topped the 100,000 signatures needed for presidential consideration. In five days, it reached nearly 150,000 with little promotion. If conservatives are to stop violent extensions of the Democratic Party, the silent majority must peacefully petition the government to level appropriate criminal sanctions.
The United States is a constitutional republic, and political discourse of all stripes must reflect this status.
