Tim Walz Tries To Mock Trump, BIG MISTAKE

lev radin

Tim Walz saw a headline about the Trump administration forcing student loan borrowers to pay their debts.

He thought he’d be clever:

“Says the guy with 6 bankruptcies.”

That’s it. That was his whole contribution. A snide comment about Trump’s business history.

What happened next was a masterclass in why politicians shouldn’t throw stones from glass houses.

“STFU, Tim” — The Responses Were Brutal

Eric Daugherty of Florida’s Voice didn’t hold back:

“STFU, Tim. If you had a shred of shame maybe you’d resign before Christmas after allowing billions of dollars to go to Somali 3rd world pirates. You’re a disgrace.”

Another response: “Bold talk on ‘responsibility’ from a governor whose own state is under investigation for industrial-scale fraud in federal nutrition and social-service programs.”

And another: “Lots of businesses file bankruptcy, Tampon Tim. What businesses have you created? Except the Somalian Small Business Association of Minnesota, of course.”

The ratio was swift and merciless.

The Magic Johnson Comparison Was Chef’s Kiss

One critic delivered the perfect analogy:

“You talking about anything related to tracking money is like Magic Johnson talking about safe sex.”

That’s the kind of response that ends careers. Walz lecturing anyone about fiscal responsibility while presiding over the largest welfare fraud in American history.

You can’t make it up.

Minnesota Is Under Investigation for Billion-Dollar Fraud

Here’s why Walz’s comment was so spectacularly self-destructive.

His state is ground zero for massive federal benefit fraud:

$300 million stolen in the Feeding Our Future scandal.

$220 million in autism program fraud.

$302 million in housing stabilization theft.

Billions more in various schemes — much of it allegedly funneled to Somali criminal networks, some reportedly connected to al-Shabaab.

And Tim Walz is lecturing Donald Trump about six bankruptcies.

The SBA Is Actively Investigating Walz’s Role

This isn’t ancient history. It’s happening right now.

Earlier this month, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced an investigation into the fraud and Walz’s potential involvement:

“Today, I have ordered an investigation into the network of Somali organizations and executives implicated in these schemes. Despite Governor Walz’s best efforts to obstruct, SBA continues to work to expose abuse and hold perpetrators accountable, full stop.”

“Despite Governor Walz’s best efforts to obstruct.”

That’s a federal official accusing him of obstruction. And he’s on Twitter mocking Trump about bankruptcy.

Six Bankruptcies Out of 540+ Businesses

Let’s address Walz’s actual criticism.

Yes, Trump has filed for bankruptcy protection for six of his businesses.

He’s been associated with over 540 businesses.

That’s roughly a 1% failure rate. In business, that’s exceptional.

Walz, by contrast, has never created a business. He’s been a government employee his entire career — and the government operations he’s overseen have lost billions to fraud.

Who has the worse track record?

“Funny How He’s Lecturing on Fiscal Responsibility”

Multiple critics made the same observation:

“Funny how he’s lecturing on fiscal responsibility while presiding over historic fraud and theft.”

The irony is almost too perfect.

The governor of the state with the worst welfare fraud in American history. Lecturing the president about financial responsibility. Because some businesses filed bankruptcy decades ago.

This is peak Democratic self-awareness.

The Student Loan Policy Is Actually Good

Lost in the mockery is the actual policy Walz was criticizing.

The Trump administration is enforcing student loan repayment. Borrowers who defaulted will have their wages garnished starting in January.

This is… how loans work.

You borrow money. You pay it back. If you don’t pay it back, there are consequences.

Biden tried to forgive hundreds of billions in loans — essentially transferring debt from people who took it on to taxpayers who didn’t. Courts stopped him.

Trump is enforcing the law. Walz thinks that’s mockable.

“What Businesses Have You Created?”

That question from one critic cuts to the heart of the matter.

Trump built a real estate empire, a brand, hundreds of companies employing thousands of people.

Walz… taught high school. Served in Congress. Became governor.

He’s never created a job that wasn’t funded by taxpayers. He’s never met a payroll. He’s never risked his own money on a venture.

But he’s going to lecture a billionaire businessman about bankruptcy law.

This Is Why He Lost

Walz was supposed to help Kamala Harris connect with working-class Midwestern voters.

Instead, he became a punchline. “Tampon Tim.” The guy whose state loses billions to fraud. The governor who didn’t know how to load a shotgun.

His student loan tweet is a perfect encapsulation of why.

Completely unaware of how he looks. Completely blind to his own vulnerabilities. Completely convinced that a snarky comment about Trump would land.

It didn’t land. It backfired spectacularly.

“You’re a Disgrace”

That line from Daugherty’s response summarizes public sentiment:

“If you had a shred of shame maybe you’d resign. You’re a disgrace.”

Billions stolen under his watch. Federal investigations into his obstruction. His state synonymous with welfare fraud.

And he’s on social media dunking on the president about bankruptcy.

Tim Walz has no shame. He proved it with one tweet.

And the internet made sure everyone knew it.
