Just days after Trump’s doctors gave him an all-clear to resume normal activities, the President was back on the campaign trail. From the podium at his packed and enthusiastic rally in Sanford, Floride, President Donald Trump drew his supporters’ attention to Joe Biden’s recent memory lapse.
“He had a very bad day today,” Trump told the crowd, “You saw what happened.”
Referring to Biden, the President continued, “He forgot Mitt Romney’s name. He didn’t know what state he was in. And he said, ‘Today, he’s a proud Democrat running for the US Senate.’ ” The President’s line caused an outburst of laughter among the rally-goers.
Of course, Joe Biden has a history of misspeaking. Slips of the tongue and forgetfulness have plagued the Biden campaign from the beginning of the race. It was not even the first time the former VP said he was running for the Senate. During the Democratic primary, Biden shocked the crowd at a campaign stop in South Carolina when he told them, “My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United State’s Senate.”
Joe Biden’s frequent gaffs have led many people to question whether the 77-year old former Vice President is mentally fit enough to lead the country if elected in November. This calls to mind the real, cold and calculated plan from the DNC — which is to put Senator Kamala Harris in the Oval Office.
Unlike Biden, Harris doesn’t spend too much time pretending to be a moderate liberal. While she certainly has a past that would make any honest progressive deeply uncomfortable (ie, putting scores of black teenagers in jail for minor drug offenses), she has demonstrated that she is fully willing to kowtow to the left’s hardline agenda.
The whole initial appeal of the Biden campaign was to present Americans with a nostalgic choice — a time when Democrats believed the country was less divided, and politicians were less radical. Of course, this is just another left-wing fabrication, because Barack Obama helped mainstream the idea that police officers are inherently evil racists, and that there is no limit for the influence a central government can have in everyday life.
Now, the mask is almost completely off. And no, we’re not talking about the one Joe Biden wears when he’s standing in an empty field, 200 feet away from the nearest person.
