Unless you’ve been living in a “s#ithole country,” you know the left is powdering up Oprah Winfrey to run against Trump in 2020. At first blush this seems fine. Oprah is talented, smart, and capable with a slew of successes to feather her cap.
But there’s more to Oprah than just catering to daytime television watchers and giving away new cars. With her name in an even brighter spotlight than usual, her past is starting to come back to haunt her.
In 2013, she gave an interview in which she stated that old people are racist and have to die. Now you have to give the devil his due. It is a not entirely unreasonable sentiment that bad ideas like racism can be much more ingrained in older people, and the only cure for the racism that they carry is to wait.
However, she didn’t just say, ‘We have to wait for a racist elderly minority to pass on and hand the torch to a more enlightened generation.’
Instead, she said, “There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”
She didn’t say it calmly either — she said it with venom in her voice and sat forward menacingly as she said it, practically spitting the word ‘die’ at the interviewer.
Perhaps it was a bit disingenuous when Paul Joseph Watson tweeted that she said “white people have to die,” but even Snopes — the leftist, CIA black-hat asset — said they think it’s reasonable to assume she meant old white people.
Now, let’s not forget what the left means when it calls someone a racist. They mean white people. They cannot deny it. For years, they have been pushing the deeply, intensely racist assertion that racism cannot exist without institutional power — and that only white people have institutional power, so only white people can be racist.
Just take a minute and let that sink in. Oprah, one of the most powerful, influential, and wealthy people to have ever walked the Earth… who is also a black woman… might have you believe that only white people have institutional power.
Okay, she herself did not say that only white people have institutional power, so there may still be hope that Oprah is not deeply radicalized. But, she should be pressed to clarify what she meant — to clarify that she either does or does not believe that only white people can be racist. This is a reasonable demand, because the academic left has been consistently adamant in asserting that very idea.
Unless she will plainly say that racism is not an implicit characteristic of white people, then she should be considered an enemy of all Americans. And she should be so considered because sewing racial divides is a patent tactic of communist regimes that have sworn to destroy the United States.
Of course, there’s more reason to object to a possible Oprah presidential administration than adhering to seditious tactics. There are some personal skeletons in her closet as well — the most obvious being her friendship with Harvey Weinstein. She has had a close relationship with the owner of Miramax for many years. She has been close to him while people like Seth McFarland and Courtney Love made jokes about Weinstein harassing and abusing women on the casting couch.
Not only has she been close to him, but she has been seen in photos holding young women by the arm — some of the same women who later came out with accusations of rape and harassment against Weinstein. In the photos, she almost appears to be pushing these young women into Weinstein’s proximity.
So, we should require three things from Oprah as candidate. We should require her to publicly state that not only white people can be racist. We should require her to publicly disavow Harvey Weinstein. And, we should require her to account for her appearing in photos seemingly pushing women who would later emerge as victims of Weinstein, the disgraced Hollywood producer.
And, we should be on the look out for her financial backers, because we know the Democratic party is so corrupt, it should be easy to spot any corrupt backers that may be rallying behind Oprah’s push for the White House.
