YouTube Hides ‘Dislike’ Feature Following Mass Downvoting of Biden Administration Videos

YouTube has decided it isn’t a fan of “dislikes” on its platform any longer.

Starting from November 10th, the company says they want to promote “respectful interactions between viewers and creators.”

YouTube says they have been considering the change since March of this year and had been experimenting with hiding dislikes, allegedly to prevent “dislike mobs” from attacking or harassing creators with downvoting their content deliberately.

Instead of being public, the creator will be the only one able to see the amount as private feedback — the dislike button will still be available to viewers.

Creators have always had the ability to hide ratings on their content.

The change, according to YouTube, will be gradual.

There is skepticism about the change across the platform, however, and social media users are asking if the real reason YouTube, owned by Google, wants to hide dislikes is to protect the Biden administration from further embarrassment.

Since Brandon took office, videos uploaded by the Biden team to the White House channel, including livestreams, have consistently got more dislikes than likes.

Sometimes at a ratio of 10 to one.

In January, two days after the inauguration, the most viewed video on the White House channel was Biden’s 31 minute inauguration speech that only received a pathetic 9,200 likes, compared to a whopping 43,000 dislikes.

Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki also consistently receives more thumbs down than up.

Interesting that the feedback from viewers is so negative when Biden is supposedly the “most popular president in U.S. history” with 81 million votes in the 2020 election…

Social media has been at the forefront of feverish censorship since the 2016 presidential election of Trump. The media also played their part with continuous negative stories, attempting to downplay Trump’s vast triumphs, and now they have flipped the script to paint Joe Biden in as good of a light as possible.

Unfortunately for the media and Big Tech, the American People are not stupid.

Biden is experiencing a record low approval rating and hiding dislikes on YouTube is not going to improve anything any time soon. At this point, there is probably nothing that could be done to fix this train wreck of an “administration.”

Biden’s approval ratings have even dropped with indoctrinated college students, who when interviewed by Prager University, said they regretted casting their vote for Biden.

One thing Biden has spawned though, is the catch phrase “Let’s Go Brandon.”

The viral trend comes from college students at football games, who originally were chanting “F*ck Joe Biden” led by Barstool Sports founder David Portnoy. From that point, the crowd would gleefully chant that every week during live sports events.

The chant morphed into “Let’s Go Brandon” when an NBC sports reporter, who was interviewing driver Brandon Brown in October at a NASCAR race, mistakenly thought the crowd behind them was cheering on the driver by chanting “Let’s Go Brandon.”

The longer they listened though, it became clear the crowd was saying “F**k Joe Biden.”

“Let’s Go Brandon” can be heard ringing out at nearly every college football game, and anywhere there are large crowds. The phrase has spawned t-shirts, bumper stickers and even rap music. (And F.Y.I., the original “F**k Joe Biden” chant can still be heard too.)

At least Joe Biden can take credit for one thing being popular, because it certainly isn’t his disastrous policies.

LET’S GO BRANDON!

  1. It’s doubtful that any intelligent American would say anything other than Trump was the rightful winner of the 2020 election! Whoever says anything else is lying! Anyone can pretend, lie, or whatever they choose but most, if not all, who are familiar with that moment in time know the truth!

    1. How dare you take that right of my opinion away from me! WTH! Now you want to stop us from having an opinion, just bc Joe is not liked! And bc you Twitter ppl do, bc you gave him millions to run and to throw Trump out of office! You did all the tricks in the book! You think that’s going to keep us silent, bc you say so! No DISLIKING COMMENT BUTTON!! ABSURDITY! BIAS!

  2. They should just remove both the Like and Dislike buttons from all posts to be fair. I use YouTube rather rarely, and it is usually music I seek when I do. Once in a while I find some ‘how to’ video, but even then I pay little to no attention to what others think of it. All the likes and dislikes do today is tell first-time watchers of a video how they should react to it. If it has a lot of Likes, then the sheep will like it, so they could belong to the ‘in’ crowd, and vice versa. Based on that, we really don’t know how many people actually like or dislike a particular post.

    1. A car video said the manifold for this vehicle is bad and would be replaced. I need to see how it’s done as other things are in the way. I also need instructions for the tools I need. I’m doing this for a friend so I will do it entirely. The video just shows still shots and the mechanic in the way of the truck is describing how it’s done but he’s not even the one doing it. No tools are shown as it’s broke down and parts removed. I wanted to see how his stomach was able bear the work as well. He was of no help and my neighbors truck now has a rod knocking now.

  3. I created a new dance step called “Brandon Bramble” It goes like this…One step forward then twenty steps
backward. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Catchy don’t you think?

  4. I cannot believe YouTube is becoming a inbred company. If that is the case, maybe you need to shut it down completely. Why are the rights of people not being considered, while understanding there is total frustration in AMERICA. We have freedom of speech… and now, you also wish to demean us by hating our right to express our gladness, pain, frustration, tears of joy and sadness. I think you really are not a company with compassion, just pretenders.

  5. I wonder how much the major social media types are shaping politician social media accounts to limit their influence, and to shape-restrict/promote the ‘picture’ that they want the politicians and the people to see, for example Social Media system owners could restrict/promote anti Trump posts to make some Republicans appear to be RINOs, causing political divisions and upheavals, and deceiving key media outlets by limiting truth and promoting anti-Trump/Republican lies?

  6. Ahh. The wee little crooks in the district of crookedness, cannot handle the dislikes; just as the faces of bots and bratty snow-flake snots, could not handle it on facecrooks! How does that snippet go? “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.”

  7. I got completely off FB, LinkedIN and Twitter two years ago. Now when asked to look on FB for something I am proud to say, “I simply don’t use social media anymore”. What a relief!

  8. How Americans could put a President in office who showed definite issues with his mental abilities is totally behind my comprehension. Then he has a nothing for VP to back him up. It is a very sad state of affairs that the Democraic party who has many skilled politicians chose this idiot! We are now paying the price for it, sadly.

    1. Problem is: Democrats have more Idiots than Common Sensors ! They only get the picture when they start losing money and the price of everything goes up by double percentages: gas, food, etc.

  9. Hmm – Definitely Biased Agenda. Shame on YouTube. I love YouTube videos: DIY and Videos for Meditation/Healing are wonderful. I noticed quite awhile ago (more than a year) that “Dislikes” were not appearing. This is just more Cancel Culture garbage. YouTube needs to show what Americans feel to let the world know that all of us are not a bunch of idiots like the Biden-Harris Administration is. Conservatives/Republicans will refuse to dance to Socialist/Liberal agendas !!! 2022 is coming quickly and the DemoRats are shaking in their shoes.

  10. I don’t watch anything Gestapo Biden has to say on Youtube or any of his speeches on TV.. he makes me want to vomit with all his lies and and hate for the American people… He is the most incompetent buffoon and he is damaging everything he touches… The entire administration is a huge nightmare and the worse enemy of our country… Disgusting.. Youtube wants to Lie to the people and not show just how many people dislike Gestapo Biden… they want to show false information…. censoring out that there are a lot of people who do NOT approve of Gestapo Biden and what he is doing to rip our country apart….
I use Youtube for some music and tutorials
