The U.S. National Christmas Tree, set to be lit by President Joe Biden in an upcoming ceremony, was knocked over by a strong gust of wind this week. The incident, occurring just days before the scheduled event, required the use of a giant crane to reposition the tree upright. The situation was particularly unusual this year because, unlike previous years where the trees were planted in the ground, this year’s tree had to be cut down due to a fungal disease outbreak.
According to @rawsalerts on X, the National Park Service confirmed the incident, which took place on the White House Ellipse. Crews worked diligently to secure the tree back into place, and the National Park Service was assessing the tree’s condition following the incident. Despite the setback, officials stated that the tree lighting ceremony would proceed as planned on Thursday.
The downing of the tree was attributed to the strong winds that swept through the area. WTOP News reported that northwest winds brought a significant cold snap on Tuesday, with winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph and gusts reaching up to 35 mph. The recorded wind gusts between 30 to 40 mph were substantial enough to cause the tree to topple over.
This year’s incident adds to the challenges faced by the White House in maintaining the traditional Christmas tree. The necessity to cut down the tree due to a fungal disease outbreak already marked a departure from the norm. The wind-related mishap further complicated the preparations for one of the nation’s cherished holiday traditions.

If that tree had to be cut down because of a fungal infection why was it relocated to another area where that infestation may not have been a threat? So much for the lefts concern for the environment.

Nursing home percentage of voters was over 90% when typically it is 4%.They checked nearly 100 nursing homes/assisted living facilities in Wis… And financed by ZUCKERBERG..
Why would you cut down an infected tree and then transport it across country to infect other trees along the way and let it harm the White House Trees? we certainly have some people that are too lazy or too stupid to realize the consequences of their actions.

Someone please tell me exactly what the message is, or how it is worded so that we all may take heed of what we are now actually witnessing. Is Jesus about to really return, to finally bring justice to this evil world that we live in? I sure hope so. I think maybe the Lord is showing what he thinks of this leader also. We never had trouble with the national Christmas tree before.
