Newt Gingrich chastised President Biden on Sunday for his gender obsessions, criticizing his choice to meet with a transgender activist at the White House while the country struggles with growing crime rates, border turmoil, and inflation.
In a Fox News op-ed, the former Republican lawmaker said that Biden’s emphasis on “gender-affirming treatment” for juveniles had “doomed” the Democrats’ chances in the next midterm elections.
Gingrich’s critique came only a week after Joe Biden met with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, in a NowThis News panel.
At the meeting, the president declared his support for “gender-affirming care,” declaring that “no state should have the ability to establish legislation restricting access to transgender therapies before asking Mulvaney for his support.”
“As a moral and legal concern, I just believe it’s wrong,” Biden lamented, carrying on a theme of tackling transgenderism that has been a defining premise of his presidency practically from the beginning.
Gingrich wasn’t having any of it in his column for FOX News. He stated that the White House has made a mistake by digging down on transgender rights when the midterm elections are just on the horizon, and that the Oval Office ought to focus on bigger issues.
“There are barely weeks left before the midterm elections are here, which will either keep Pres. Joe Biden and the Washington Dems’ program on life support — or fully shut it down,” he said, adding:
The cost of gas and food, violence on the streets, and border instability are all major concerns for the American people.
As a result, the White House staff planned a meeting with Biden and a radical transgender activist who represents a cause with which the majority of Americans disagree.
The struggling Democrats have decided that the secret to winning elections is not protecting the border, locking up criminals, controlling inflation, or addressing the nation’s education problems. They have decided that supporting transgenderism and meeting with a transgender activist on TikTok are crucial to winning.
Gingrich then cited a recent poll, which concluded that transgenderism is not a major problem among American voters.
They are also not as captivated by it as other media sources, who treat sexuality among school-age children as a “art form” to be debated in depth.
62 percent of Americans feel it is “never appropriate” to talk about gender transitions with children in kindergarten up to 12th grade, and about 80 percent say the kid’s parents should be alerted ahead of time.
At the same time, over 59 percent of Americans feel that giving puberty blockers to teenagers should be outlawed, and 56 percent believe that gender change surgery is child abuse on youngsters.
As the midterm elections approach, Joe Biden reached out to transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney for support.
“The idea of President Joe Biden and Jill Biden sitting around watching ‘Days of Girlhood’ as crime reigns, inflation soars, and our children’s prospects disintegrate is one of those things that doom elections,” Gingrich said of Mulvaney’s TikTok series in which he documents his transition to female.
“Nothing shouts ‘separated from reality’ more plainly in the eyes of voters,” he continued.
“My judgment is this was an act of desperation,” the former lawmaker said.
Democrats’ reality is COMPLETELY skewed these days. They are quite desperate and are deflecting from the real problems that our country is suffering right now. Makes no sense to a reasonable person living in this country.

The Dems seem only to be concerned with child mutilation and death. This transgenderism and death cult abortion on demand are their passions while their destruction of the economy, inflation, crime, drugs, open borders and energy dependence can’t be talked about at all. Whatever happened to the climate crisis that isn’t a crisis? But they sure screwed up the economy in the name of a fake crisis while they created them everywhere else.

A person who doesn’t believe what they see in their own pants doesn’t have a problem in their pants, the problem is in their heads. Since just over 40% of so-called “transgenders” end up taking their own lives, perhaps humoring their delusion isn’t the solution. Maybe addressing their mental illness is the most compassionate response anyone can offer them…
