Shopping may about to become much more challenging in the most progressive state in the country.
It’s common practice for stores to separate clothes and toys by gender, making it easy for parents to find the items they need for their sons and daughters. However, one California politician who clearly has far too much time on his hands thinks that stores should be punished for the horrific practice.
The legislation, known as AB 2826, would threaten stores with fines if they dared to separate any childcare products by gender. Apparently, such a practice “pigeonholes children,” and could make them feel stigmatized. California State Assembly member Evan Low says he was inspired to propose the bill when an eight-year-old child asked him why stores should “tell” children what a girl’s shirt or toy is. AB 2826, which is pending referral to the policy committee, stipulates that retail department stores can be fined $1,000 for every infraction.
While it’s hard to definitively predict what will happen to the bill, the fact that it is being considered at all shows that the state of California has gone far off the deep end in attempting to create an “LGBTQ-friendly” environment. Merging boys’ and girls’ products will make it difficult for shoppers to find what they are looking for, likely resulting in these same shoppers turning to online stores such as Amazon where, thankfully, gender-based products can still be found with ease.
Let’s get the obvious point out of the way: government officials have no business telling private retailers how to run their stores. A store should be free to arrange its products as it sees fit, without government interference. If customers feel “pigeonholed”, they can go to other stores that cater to their tastes. That’s the way things are supposed to work in a free country.
Brad Dacus, the president of the Pacific Justice Institute Center for Public Policy, points out this and other crazy California bills are killing common sense, innovation, and freedom in the state. It’s just the latest example of why people are fleeing California in droves to live in freer states like Texas.
The intersectional left constantly claims that it just wants representation and tolerance for marginalized communities. However, the facts on the ground show that this is patently untrue. They want to dominate life in the United States, forcing everyone to accept or even participate in whatever lifestyle they’re pushing that particular month. Those who disagree based on religious or common-sense based principles are harassed for being intolerant and uncaring.
Stores should not have to cater to the minuscule portion of the population that has chosen to identify as something other than male or female. Boys and girls who enjoy playing with toys typically marked as being for the other gender know where to find them. AB 2826 is just about expanding government control over the lives of the American people, and lawmakers would be wise to reject it.

34 states need to request a Constitutional Convention and then 38 states to ratify the amendment(s). Problem with THIS is the geology isn’t there.
The area is rife with faults and fissures, but the sea in the area isn’t even a half-mile deep, but the tectonic plates go all the way to the earth’s mantle (as far as 15 miles deep).
For the sea too flood the area, the plates would have to go straight down (into the mantle) because they can’t move more than a few inches/feet in any other direction.
