No one needs to be told that the 2024 presidential race is unusual.
The person in charge of the Republican contenders is being faced with jail time, and the person who is already in office can’t put together a sentence that makes sense.
If the Democrats can get Donald Trump jailed, Stu Burguiere thinks, he “could just win the presidential race from jail.”
In spite of this, one competitor has been rising in the polls faster than expected.
That person is Nikki Haley, who came in tied with Ron DeSantis in the recent Iowa poll. Both of them are 16% below Donald Trump.
“Everyone is sure that Donald Trump will win these polls. But knowing that Haley is now even with DeSantis is great news for her campaign,” says Stu.
Stu doesn’t like Nikki Haley, but he also doesn’t dislike her either.
“You should know that she’s a Republican. I do not agree with all of her views,” he adds. “But I thought she did a pretty good job as governor of South Carolina while she was in office. Having said that, I didn’t think her debating efforts were very good.”
This survey is the first real sign that Haley’s campaign is picking up speed in Iowa. In New Hampshire as well as South Carolina, she has already been doing well in the polls.
“It was clear that she had been a UN ambassador. She knows a fair amount about being famous around the world. A hawkish national defense is at the heart of her case,” Stu says.
The case for a strong national defense will become stronger if there are any terrorist strikes. This is something that Americans have been warning about since Hamas invaded Israel.
The study also shows that 87% of Trump fans are either very or extremely excited about the candidate. Rick Scott has 75%, but Ron DeSantis only has 65%.
For Stu, this could make Nikki Haley’s 16% “just a little better.”
I am personally totally disgusted with All Political people – both parties! Why is no one being completely truthful today? Why can no one get along and work together? What ever happened to COMPROMISE and RESPECT? I have been thinking about having We the People vote for a President and vote for a Vice President separately. Perhaps it would help getting parties to pay attention to We the People, rather than their own self interests! What do you think?
