Recently released documents solidify the facts that Gen. Michael Flynn was targeted, entrapped, and coerced into making the guilty plea that he has since withdrawn.
Understanding the depths of corruption that led to Gen. Flynn being charged begins with former President Barack Obama. The ex-president filled the Federal Bureau of Investigation with biased Democrat Deep State operatives that changed the leadership culture from the most revered law enforcement agency in the nation to, perhaps, the least trusted.
With the likes of now-disgraced ex-FBI chief James Comey, and fired agent Peter Strzok in positions of power and influence, Gen. Flynn’s place in government changed with his allegiance. It’s essential to understand that Gen. Flynn was a card-carrying Democrat who was appointed Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency by Obama. But when he joined President Donald Trump’s campaign and transition team, a bull’s eye appeared on his back.
Comey and Strzok dubbed Flynn “Crossfire Razor,” a subtext of the treasonous “Crossfire Hurricane” spying of the Trump Campaign. After uncovering zero collusion between Flynn and Russian operatives, recently released notes reveal the FBI was prepared to move on from the distinguished veteran.
“The writer notes that since CROSSFIRE RAZOR was not specifically named as an agent of a foreign power by the original CROSSFIRE HURRICANE predicated reporting, the absence of any derogatory information or lead information from these logical sources reduced the number of investigative avenues and techniques to pursue,” the FBI concluded. “Per the direction of FBI management, CROSSFIRE RAZOR was not interviewed as part of the case closing procedure.”
But Strzok managed to leverage his more personal contacts to intervene. After all, Flynn had abandoned Obama-era Democrats in favor of President Trump, helped upend Hillary’s presidential bid, and any hopes of the Deep State retaining power.
“If you haven’t closed RAZOR, don’t do so yet,” Strzok reportedly requested on a redacted source. He then pivoted to the woman he was having an extra-marital affair with at the DOJ, Lisa Page.
“Pls keep it open for now,” Strzok asked of Page, who responded with personal bias, “Phew.”
There was nothing even-handed or impartial about going after a Lieutenant General who served admirably in the U.S. Army, earning the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, among many others. Recently released documents and DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s probe point to Strzok not acting alone. He intervened on behalf of ex-director Comey and Democrat deputy director Andrew McCabe, whose wife took campaign money from Hillary.
While everyday Americans may see this as a conspiracy perpetrated by a small group of liberal extremists within the government, it was much more. It was a politically-motivated hit on a patriot who favored America First policies over kowtowing to foreign powers. Documents indicate that biased FBI forces circled back to entrap Gen. Flynn and later used coercion to extract a guilty plea.
House Minority Leader Steve Scalise has come out fully in favor of taking the next legal steps.
“The thing that sticks out the most is that the FBI was getting ready to close the case, and then Peter Strzok came in, and we all know his motivations. He was a strong anti-Trumper. He had — he had motivations against Donald Trump, not as a — as a cop trying to find out facts. And he went and pushed to — to keep this thing going because it turned out, you know, you saw it, he, Strzok, and Page both, who were dirty cops from the beginning,” he said. “That’s not the kind of person you want with a badge. That’s — that’s what the definition of ‘dirty cop’ is all about. I want the attorney general to look into this, and, frankly, people ought to go to jail, and he would be at the top of the list.”
