George Soros, a billionaire and left-leaning donor, has been accumulating debt in order to gain control of Audacy, the nation’s second-largest radio broadcaster.
As per bankruptcy filings and information provided by sources close to the matter and court filings, Soros Fund Management has acquired $400 million in debt in Audacy, which is the second largest US radio broadcaster after iHeartMedia, and owns stations like WFAN and 1010 WINS in New York and Los Angeles-based KROQ.
Then, Soros may be in charge of over 220 radio outlets across the country. According to a Republican insider with knowledge of the matter, Soros may be attempting to get media outlets to potentially sway public opinion in the run-up to the 2024 election.
The source declared, “This is scary.”
If Soros is successful, he will probably own 40% of the senior debt of the business, giving him significant power over the company when it comes out of bankruptcy. He won’t hold the majority.
A person close to the matter told the Post that Soros purchased the debt from hedge fund HG Vora a few weeks ago for about 50 cents on the dollar.
It also stated, “Existing stockholders are anticipated to be wiped out under Audacy’s current Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan.” “Shares in the reorganized business would be used to repay high-ranking creditors like Soros.”
Audacy, which disclosed that Soros had invested $1.9 billion in it when the company filed for bankruptcy on January 7.
“Our firm and the future of the radio and audio business are receiving a huge vote of confidence from our current and new debtholders who have chosen to become equity holders in Audacy,” a statement from Audacy said.
It’s a shame that George Soros uses his money for destruction and down grading our country. A real man would use money for positive things. Burn in HELL Soros !!!!

I think what needs to happen is they need to take his money and lose at the same time. I dont know if he is one of the billionaires from Black Rock or not, but what I have heard is there is 116 of them in this corp. I know they want to Run the world. And I believe for the most part that they are doing everything they can to become the first trillionaire in the world. But it would not surprise me if they are the ones who are running every decision that Biden makes. Of course I have heard that they are also building bomb shelters for themselves. Ms. Rich, It is very likely that Soros gives such large sums of his ill-gotten money to the Democrat Party and then, the Democrat Party doles it out to the various candidates running for political office; beginning I think with those states that are on the verge of losing their Party power. In other words, tke Pennsylvania and Michigan for examples: these are but two states presently controlled by the Democrat Party by virtue of having a core Liberal Governor, Senate and or Representative.
