Open Borders Liberals Furious As SCOTUS Hands Trump ‘Remain in Mexico’ Win

The U.S. Supreme Court recently delivered the Trump Administration a critical victory as liberals, and Democrat judges conspired to open the Southern border amid the coronavirus outbreak.

In a textbook liberal maneuver, open borders and sanctuary cities advocates ran to San Francisco’s notoriously biased Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in an attempt to strike down President Donald Trump’s successful Migrant Protection Protocols, commonly referred to as the “Remain in Mexico” policy. The program effectively put an end to the Obama-era “catch and release” that allowed illegals to make mostly phony asylum applications and slip into the U.S.

“According to Department of Justice statistics, half of those let in after passing credible fear and released do not even submit the formal asylum application, and half of those who do end up skipping out on the hearings. Of those Central Americans who complete the process, only 20 percent are approved,” Center for Immigration Studies director Jessica Vaughan reportedly said.

The Trump Administration policy did not end asylum applications but required migrants to wait on the Mexico side of the border during processing. This strategy has stemmed the tide of illegal incursions into the U.S. while remaining true to legitimate asylum-seeking applicants.

“If you come here, even with a kid — it used to be, you come here with a kid, that was your passport into the United States,” Customs and Border Patrol official Mark Morgan reportedly said. “(Remain in Mexico) is saying, ‘That’s done. That’s a lie now.’ So, don’t mortgage your home. Don’t pay the cartels. Don’t risk your life. Don’t risk the life of your family.”

With the COVID-19 pandemic escalating around the globe and the president calling for a recent travel ban to Europe, liberals cared little about the health and safety of everyday Americans. Instead, Ninth Circuit judges — appointed by now-disgraced ex-President Bill Clinton — irresponsibly tried to halt the Remain in Mexico policy and open the floodgates. But an 11th-hour stay granted by the U.S. Supreme Court may have saved a border breach upwards of 60,000.

“Today’s order from the Supreme Court is a major victory for the Trump Administration. By allowing the Migrant Protection Protocols to remain in effect, the Court has prevented dangerous chaos at the southern border, avoided a significant escalation in public health threats, and mitigated damage to foreign relations,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham reportedly stated.

Despite the fact that murderous MS-13 gang members, rapists, sex offenders, and unvaccinated Central Americans who have tested positive for COVID-19 are among their ranks, liberals are outraged at their loss.

“The Court of Appeals unequivocally declared this policy to be illegal. The Supreme Court should as well,” American Civil Liberties Union lawyer Judy Rabinovitz reportedly said.

The Texas-based Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services described the policy that protects Americans as “inhumane” and criticized the high court for stopping the Democrat judges from opening the border.

“We are not surprised that the Supreme Court has once again chosen to follow the shortsighted and inhumane framing presented by the Trump Administration regarding MPP,” the center’s director Erika Andiola reportedly stated. “We denounce the Supreme Court’s decision, which further upholds the Trump Administration’s racist and shortsighted perception of migration. We will continue to support migrants and fight for a future where migration is recognized as a human right.”

The Trump Administration’s decisive victory prevents liberal judges from other courts from trying to upend the policy until lawsuits have run their course.
