Mike Pence, who served as vice president, said that he would not be endorsing Trump for president in 2024.
Trump secured the Republican presidential nomination with more than 1,215 delegates, setting the path for a rematch with Joe Biden in the 2020 general election. His remarks came less than a week after that.
Following Fox News host Martha MacCallum’s question on Pence’s potential support for Trump this year, Pence stated, “It should come as no surprise that I will not endorse Donald Trump this year.”.
For four years, Pence was Trump’s vice president. They sought reelection in 2020 on a united ticket, but Biden emerged victorious.
Pence said in August that he would be signing a loyalty pledge with the Republican National Committee, promising to back the party’s nominee for president in the upcoming election cycle. After failing to make a significant impact in a crowded GOP field, Pence decided to halt his campaign in October.
Pence expressed his utmost pride in the “conservative” record of the Trump administration in an interview with Fox News. Nonetheless, he clarified that he and Trump were growing apart on several matters, one of which was Pence’s reluctance to attempt to halt the certification of the 2020 election results.
Throughout my run for president, I made it quite apparent that I and President Trump had very different views on many topics. Not only because we disagree on the constitutional obligations I fulfilled on January 6th, he said.
“As I have observed his campaign progress, I have witnessed him renouncing our pledge to address the national debt,” he continued. I’ve seen that he’s becoming more reticent to fully support the idea that human life is sacred. His support for our administration’s attempt to compel the sale of ByteDance’s TikTok software and his flip on toughness toward China occurred just last week.
According to Pence, Trump’s most recent campaign is different from what they attempted to do while they were working together. Last month, his organization, Advancing American Freedom, revealed a $20 million effort to protect conservative values.
The conservative platform that we ruled on for four years is in conflict with Donald Trump’s agenda, which he is pursuing and expressing. He reasoned that this was the reason he could not support Donald Trump throughout the campaign.

In a free society, dissenting voices are permitted – and even encouraged – and in the political realm, they MUST be permitted, because otherwise we will be living in a totalitarianism, and if I have anything to say about it, I am loyal to our sacred Republic – just as Mike Pence is – and just as all patriots are – and I will defend our Free Republic until my last dying breath.

The Vice President’s powers are very limited – so limited that they are hardly mentioned in the Constitution – and the only time he has any power at all is when he is presiding over the Senate – and even then he may not cast a vote except to break a tie (paragraph 4, section 3, Article I of the Constitution). Nor may he constitutionally investigate the legitimacy of Electoral votes. Such investigations are reserved to each of the Houses of Congress (paragraph 1, section 5, Article I of the Constitution), and in such cases the Supreme Court (paragraphs 1 and 2 of section 2 of Article III of the Constitution). Mike Pence has demonstrated that he has no intention of opposing the far Left agenda of the Democratic Marxists. He seems to want to play both sides which makes him–in my book–a RINO. He keeps sending me data and solicitations for money, which I refuse. I asked to have my name & address removed from his mailings, but to no avail. Therefore, I now send his printed data back to him in his franked envelope.
He’s always been vocal about his Christian faith, as we’ve seen from Mitt Romney, yet they seem to completely ignore President Donald Trump’s faith which is not displayed to the public non-stop. A RINO is a RINO is a RINO and I don’t like them.

Pence is a jusist escargot, how could you forget forgiveness if you don’t remember how you of all people was Vice President only because of President Trump. Pence is the true conservative Republican and has maintained those values. Trump was a Democrat and now has hijacked the Republican Party and is trying to make it his own Trump Party. Just remember “the way you treat people on your way up is how they will treat you on your way down” and that is what is happening here. I have voted for Trump twice because I agree with his policies but you guys need to wise up. I am about as conservative a Republican as you can get but I have been called a RINO because I don’t like the way Trump treats people.

I do believe Pence should have asked for an investigation into election fraud. I do believe he was doing just what the Democrats wanted him to do. Not a very good Republican and a back stabber!
Think of how much better the American people would be now if Pence would have delayed the certification and asked for an investigation into election fraud. Guilty or innocent we would at least have known the honest winner of an honest election free of fraud, and eliminated the doubt, instead of further dividing the nation and questioning our election process.
Pence doesn’t have any leadership characteristics. I view him basically a crybaby with the “Oh Poor Me Attitude”.
With the mess our country is in, he needs to get over his feelings. We need Patriots to fight for America First. Trump’s the ONE. I pray God will protect him.
