Rand Paul Has Big Plans For Liberal Tech Companies

After it came to light that the Department of Homeland Security was attempting to censor free speech that it deemed to be “dangerous” or “disinformation,” Kentucky Senator Rand Paul committed to introduce legislation that would make it illegal for government organizations and major tech firms to conspire against Americans’ free speech rights.

During an interview on Fox News, Paul stated the following about the Democratic Party:

“For all their rhetoric about democracy, it appears that they are destroying the very foundations of our constitutional system.”

“Freedom of speech was added in the first amendment because it was the most fundamental right that our forefathers believed should be safeguarded. But having the government conspire with Big Tech to control speech runs against everything that has ever said about freedom of speech,” Paul added.

The Kentucky Senator went on to say:

“So, when we return to session, I want to present legislation prohibiting the government from conspiring with private firms to restrict speech.”

Paul explained the complexities of free speech regulation:

“This is a difficult position since many individuals think that the First Amendment doesn’t enable us to regulate private enterprises’ speech. But, without a doubt, we can control the government and restrict and keep the government from collaborating with private tech on speech.”

“I believe that we should likewise exclude and restrict them from acquiring our data,” Paul asserted. “We can’t really tell individuals on the Internet that they can’t gather our data, you know, for marketing and sales,” he said. “But we can tell the government that they can’t gather that data because I don’t want the government profiling every person.”

The Kentucky senator said, “That goes against everything that we all believe in as far as the core of our constitutional system.”

Paul referred to the Democrats as “the party of authoritarianism” because of their fanatical devotion to infringe on basic American liberties.

It’s no longer enough to rail against the Democrats’ tyranny. Republicans must now enact real legislation to put authoritarian Democrats in their place.

Political predators only comprehend the language of force, and they must be reminded through forceful laws that there are serious consequences for their political wrongdoing.

  1. Good luck Paul, the democrats have a communist agenda that they will not give up. They are already rigging the elections again. Dominium machines are broken and liberal judges are limiting the time you can vote while technicians stall fixing them.
