China has accused the United States of undermining the possibility of world peace, by starting wars and triggering conflicts between nations in order to serve itself and its NATO allies’ own interests, at the expense of innocent civilians.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told reporters on Wednesday that, “The history of NATO is one about creating conflicts and waging wars . . ., arbitrarily launching wars and killing innocent civilians, even to this day,” adding, “Facts have proven that it isn’t China that poses a systemic challenge to NATO, and instead it is NATO that brings a looming systemic challenge to world peace and security.”
The comments came one week after NATO had singled out China as a “challenge” to Western interests, when NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, “China is substantially building up its military forces, including nuclear weapons, bullying its neighbors, threatening Taiwan … monitoring and controlling its own citizens through advanced technology, and spreading Russian lies and disinformation.”
Since Russia moved forces in Ukraine in late February, the relationship between the United States and China has steadily deteriorated and now with BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) working towards having a new international currency for trade – the likelihood that this relationship will sour further is pretty much guaranteed at this point.
Beijing has repeatedly accused the US of using NATO to provoke the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia and declined to join the US-led campaign to punish Russia for the invasion.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also made comments at last week’s NATO summit held in Spain, accusing China of “seeking to undermine the rules-based international order.”
In response, Zhao said the “so-called rules-based international order is actually a family rule made by a handful of countries to serve the US self-interest.”
The US “observes international rules only as it sees fit,” he added, and it has sought through NATO to “hype up competition with China and stoke group confrontation.”
Blinken is set to meet with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi this week at the G20 summit which is being held in Indonesia.
It is amazing that the Biden administration and those he chose to work for him, are completely incompetent and countries like China are fully aware of this. During the Trump administration, former President Donald Trump commanded nothing by respect from foreign officials and that is what he received.
Biden has made the United States significantly weaker, and it is probably in part because he and his crackhead son Hunter Biden, have engaged in shady, back-door deals with the communist Chinese, while selling America down the river.
It will be interesting to see what the outcome is this week at the summit, undoubtedly it will be another failure and America will continue to be embarrassed by those “in charge.”
What about the communist China and all their slaves and locking up all the wigers in concentration camps because of their religious beliefs and starving a big portion of the Chinese people and spying on the USA and doing cyber hacker’s and stealing from American companies and I could go on all day of what China does..
