According to San Francisco Police Dept. Chief Bill Scott, an unnamed person let police officers inside Paul Pelosi’s house the morning an attacker broke in and assaulted Pelosi with a hammer.
Scott stated that when cops arrived at the Pelosi house, “the door was opened by someone on the inside,” but he did not reveal who that individual was.
“So when the cops came this morning and knocked on the front door, someone on the inside opened it,” Scott explained. “And the cops witnessed Mr. Pelosi and the suspect, Mr. DePape, inside the home’s doorway via the open door.”
According to Scott, DePape “broke in through a rear door” in the back of Pelosi’s house.
Officers ordered DePape and Pelosi to release the hammer and seemed to stand by while DePape struck Pelosi, waiting until DePape “brutally attacked” Pelosi before disarming him.
Scott stated:
“The cops stayed outside the front door of the house at this time. They also noticed Mr. Pelosi and Mr. DePape, who each had one hand on a single hammer. The police only noticed one hammer. Officers gave both guys orders to drop the hammer while they were still beyond the entryway threshold. Mr. DePape yanked the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and viciously struck him with it. The cops entered instantly, took the suspect down, disarmed him, seized the hammer from him, and placed Mr. DePape into custody.”
DePape’s motivation, according to Scott, “is still being determined.” DePape, on the other hand, is said to have written conspiracy theories about America’s “ruling class/elites” on his WordPress site and Facebook page.
Democrats seized the chance to associate DePape’s assault of Pelosi with “MAGA fanatics.” For example, after claims that DePape screamed “Where’s Nancy?” as he approached the Pelosi house, President Joe Biden allegedly blamed the incident on Republicans.
However, traces of sympathy for left-leaning political issues, such as a handwritten “BLM” poster, a banner that reads “Berkeley Is United Against Hate,” and multiple stickers condemning capitalism and conservatives, can be found around DePape’s alleged residence.

Early news reports showed a written description of event, somewhat different than newer versions. Said A PERSON let them into house and they saw two men inside, EACH holding hammers and grabbing each other. Police said Pelosi said there was no problem and the man was a friend. “Friend ” only had on underwear. The door opening person was never described, not even if yhey were male or female. There was no security staff present. which is very odd.
An attorney who has served a subpoena to the Pelosis before stated it was difficult. Had to go to all seven homes they own, found all 7 had heavy private security staff, even though the Pelosis were not there. Attorney could not believe no security staff was there this time. And DePape standing in his underwear, also odd, plus Paul Pelosi telling them it was a “friend”.

The window was broken from inside the foyer as photos clearly show the glass is shattered on the outside steps. What happened in the 30 min time lapse of Depape’s entry to Pelosi calling the cops?
