Trump Issues New Warning: “Will Get 100 Times Worse”

If Vice President Kamala Harris wins, former President Donald Trump says that things “will get 100 times worse” and that she would “put in place Soviet-style price controls.”

In a post on X, Trump said that things would get even more expensive if Harris won the election. Trump also said that Harris’s economic plan would “abolish private health care” and “put in place price controls in the style of the Soviet Union.”

“If you think things are pricey now, wait until Kamala is President for four years. Things will be 100 times WORSE,” Trump wrote. “Kamala’s plan calls for price controls in the style of the Soviet Union.” She is going to get rid of private health care and make California’s crazy rules the law of the land. This means that EVERY American will have to pay taxes on up to 80% of their income! Vote Trump if you want MORE MONEY and LESS TAXES!!!”

Trump’s post comes after Harris announced a number of questionable economic policies, including putting limits on the prices of groceries and giving first-time homeowners a $25,000 down payment.

Other campaign promises that Harris has taken from the Trump-Vance campaign are to raise the child tax credit and get rid of taxes on tips, among other things.

At first, Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), wanted to raise the child tax credit to $5,000. Later, Harris wanted to raise it to $6,000.

In 2019, Harris said that she wanted to get rid of private health insurance while she was still a senator in California.

Harris also backed Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) bill, “Medicare for All.” This bill would have done away with private health insurance, which would have caused delays in care, among other problems.

After Harris started running for president in July, campaign officials told the New York Times that the vice president no longer backed “a single-payer health care program.”
