Former President Donald Trump replied to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday night, focusing on the southern border’s mass illegal immigration, violence, real wage cuts, and corruption.
“Here’s the actual State of the Union: Over the last two years, under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different nations have poured through our southern border,” Trump, the lone Republican officially in the 2024 primary field, stated.
There has been 4.2 million migrants captured by Border Patrol personnel along the southern border since Biden took office in January 2021, marking a record high. On January 28, at his first formal campaign trail rally in South Carolina, Trump stated that if re-elected, his government will expedite deportation measures.
Another border concern that was highlighted by Trump in his response to Joe Biden on Tuesday was the fentanyl crisis. In 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recorded 71,238 U.S. fatalities from “synthetic opioids (mainly fentanyl),” a significant increase from 57,834 in 2020.
“Drug traffickers are now making billions of dollars shipping poison to harm our people and our children,” Trump stated.
According to the New York Post, fentanyl production often begins in China, where precursor chemicals are made, and then Mexican gangs synthesize the narcotics before they are brought across the border.
Trump then went on to say that “savage murders, rapists, and violent criminals are being freed from prison to continue their crime wave.”
“Biden and the extreme Democrats have squandered trillions of dollars and generated the greatest inflation in a half-century,” Trump added.
“Real earnings have fallen for the 21st month in a row, gas prices have risen and are now considerably higher than before, and the ordinary American household is spending $2,200 in increasing energy and food costs per year,” he continued.
According to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, real wages, which include both average hourly and weekly earnings, have been falling every month since March 2021.
The 45th president, whose Mar-a-Lago estate was seized in August as part of a classified materials investigation, then chastised Biden’s “weaponized Justice Department” for “persecuting his political opponents,” claiming the “government is waging war on free speech.”
In fact, in December, Trump proposed a detailed policy program to “shatter the left-wing censorship system and regain the right to free expression for all Americans.”
“They’re attempting to brainwash and mutilate our kids,” Trump remarked on Tuesday. “Biden is taking us to the brink of World War III, and on top of that, he is the most corrupt President in American history, by far.”
If elected, Trump promised to “correct every single crisis, tragedy, and disaster that Joe Biden has caused,” and to “complete the unfinished job of Making America Great Again.”

Was anyone else who watched Biden’s ridiculous television address to the American people yelling out LIAR LIAR when Biden stated that Republicans were trying to get rid of Social Security and Medicare ??? I started yelling Liar in my home just right before Marjorie Taylor Green did. I guess the Leftist Media would be pissed at all of us who did just that. A President is only respected if he/she is truthful and honest. Biden = Once A Liar / Always A Liar !!!!

We need Trump now, more than ever. The other ‘Johnny come latelys’ are flying on Trump’s coattails but the sad truth is those who would run against him will return the country to ‘business as usual’ ; back to the Bush and Clinton eras where Repubs were a large part of The Swamp, but nobody knew it.

We were getting back, on track, during the Trump administration. Our country has been in a downfall ever since Biden took over.
I may not like some of the things Trump says and does, but he has shown his worth before. I would like to see him finish what he started.
Otherwise, our country, as we know it, will be over.
Every word President Trump said is the absolute truth. The real state of the union would take a 2000 page book to describe all of the disasters created by the current installed regime. When Trump left office, we were energy independent and our borders were protected. Inflation was at 1%, and gas prices were $1.89 a gallon. China and Russia both were in check because they knew not to mess with President Trump. Putin would’ve never invaded Ukraine had Trump been in office. It’s unbelievable how far we’ve regressed as a nation in only 2 years. Every night before we go to bed, we need to pray for our country and our families.
