Trump Vows to End DEI’s Multibillion-Dollar Scheme For Good

Diversity Equality Inclusion write on a sticky note isolated on Office Desk.

The days of unchecked Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies are numbered as red states and conservative leaders prepare to roll back the woke agenda embedded in nearly every corner of American life. These DEI initiatives—widely adopted under the Biden-Harris administration—have turned into a multibillion-dollar racket that prioritizes racial quotas and left-wing orthodoxy over merit and quality.

Conservative lawmakers, state attorneys general, and even corporations are waking up to the damage wrought by DEI. Devon Westhill, a constitutional attorney and expert on DEI policies, aptly calls it the “DEI enterprise,” a leftist scheme that dominates industries ranging from corporate America to the U.S. military. “DEI isn’t interested in diversity of thought or true diversity,” Westhill said. “It’s only interested in racial quotas.”

The Biden administration’s obsession with DEI has seeped into every facet of governance. In 2021, Biden issued an executive order mandating federal agencies to embed DEI principles in hiring and decision-making. Even the Department of Education got involved, pressuring public universities to adopt DEI standards. The military wasn’t spared either, with billions poured into woke initiatives instead of actual readiness.

But now, the tide is turning. The incoming Trump administration has signaled that dismantling DEI will be a top priority. Trump already issued an executive order in 2020 to ban divisive training programs for federal contractors, and Republican-led states are poised to continue the fight. Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird warned, “No one’s retirement and life savings should be gambled for these woke ESG and DEI goals.”

Corporations that jumped on the DEI bandwagon face growing backlash. Will Hild, executive director of Consumer’s Research, revealed that many companies adopted DEI policies under pressure from the Biden administration, which threatened lawsuits and bad press. The result? A shift in focus from quality goods and services to virtue-signaling. Now, red state attorneys general are preparing to sue these companies for prioritizing racial quotas over merit-based hiring.

The woke house of cards is collapsing, and not a moment too soon. DEI and ESG are nothing more than tools for social engineering, prioritizing identity politics over excellence and competence. Americans are tired of watching their institutions crumble under the weight of leftist nonsense. With conservative leadership in states and a Trump administration on the horizon, the focus will return to merit, accountability, and real progress—not the divisive politics of the left.
