Far-left activist group Antifa escalated their anti-Trump rhetoric earlier this week with a banner that appeared to openly advocate violence against people with differing political opinions.
Antifa, which has been classified as a terrorist organization by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, typically makes appearances at pro-free speech events and political rallies. Their demonstrations and counter-demonstrations at such events such as the so-called “Unite the Right” event have been characterized by clashes with police and right-wing demonstrators of various stripes.
The group’s hostility, which is largely ignored by the left-wing media, has been known for quite some time. While the black-clad activists often claim to simply be “anti-fascist,” their tendency to cause trouble at relatively moderate events more than suggests that this isn’t the case. As InfoWars commentator Paul Joseph Watson has pointed out, Antifa labels just about everyone to the right of Soviet dictator Joesph Stalin to be a fascist. That doesn’t exactly leave a whole lot of wiggle room for everyone that isn’t a full-blown communist.
"It takes bullet to bash fash."
Let me remind you that Antifa believes everyone right of Stalin to be a fascist.
This is open incitement of violence.

Most recently, Antifa’s violent attitude towards everything not of the radical left was made perfectly clear during a rally in Washington, DC. During the protest, the group sported a banner which read “it takes a bullet to bash the fash,” with the word “fash” being a nickname for “fascist.” Remember – the term isn’t referring to people with an ideology perfectly in line with Bennito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler. The “fash” refers to anyone with an even slightly right-wing worldview. Antifa demonstrators are effectively advocating political violence against a sizable majority of the American people.
It is long past time to deal with Antifa for what it is: a terrorist organization. This group doesn’t stop at just words. They have clashed with police officers. They have attacked innocent people. They have de-platformed conservative speakers, effectively rendering themselves as the censorship wing for the American left. They will not stop until they are given a reason to.
Law enforcement should approach Antifa social media pages the same way they approach jihadi groups openly using online platforms to recruit and spread their messages. Until then, we have to accept the fact that there is a gaping double-standard in both the media and in our government.
