In the wake of allegations U.S. Women’s Soccer Team player Megan Rapinoe pressured teammates to disrespect the country by kneeling through the National Anthem during the Olympics, Joe Biden went out of his way to honor her. What was not lost on everyday people was how rudely the occupant of the White House ignored patriotic Olympians who proudly represented the United States of America in Tokyo.
The Biden Administration paid little attention to the Olympians who competed and led the world in medals while inviting members of the professional WNBA championship team Seattle Storm to the White House. Sue Bird, Rapinoe’s spouse, declined to take a knee during the international games. The WNBA star indicated that it would be inappropriate not to effectively represent all Americans in that platform. Rapinoe, by contrast, did not shy away from her obvious disdain for America and Americans.
What seems incredible is that patriotic Olympic champions such as Gold Medal wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock have not garnered the same applause as leftist rabble-rousers. Joe Biden praised the likes of Rapinoe even though she has no connection to the WNBA championship team.
“Between the two of them, they share Olympic medals, World Cup titles, the WNBA championship, and above all, they define integrity and character,” Biden reportedly said of Bird and Rapinoe. “As president, as an American, I’m proud of how they represented us, and they represent the best of what America stands for. That’s what winners do. They shine the light. They lift people up. They’re a force for change.”
Former President Donald Trump strongly disagreed with Biden’s position that Rapinoe represents national sentiments. His America First policies did more to create quantifiable economic and social equality than any administration in recorded history. Poverty rates fell to a historic low while African-Americans and other minorities experienced unprecedented prosperity. That’s largely why he had sharp words for Rapinoe.
“Megan should never disrespect our country, the White House, or our flag, especially since so much has been done for her and the team,” the former president reportedly said.
The Texas wrestling product reportedly negotiated among the toughest draws of the games to earn wrestling Gold while the world’s top women’s soccer team failed to bring their A-game. Contrasting the disgraceful representation by Rapinoe and other Olympic kneelers, Mensah-Stock unabashedly praised God and country.
“I surprised myself! It’s by the grace of God I’m able even to move my feet. I just leave it in his hands. And I pray that all the practice, the hell that my freaking coaches put me through, pays off. And every single time it does,” she reportedly said. “I love representing the U.S. I freaking love living there. I love it. And I’m so happy I get to represent USA!”
During the White House ceremony designed to elevate elitist propaganda that people of all walks should also hate the USA, Joe Biden reportedly took a knee in solidarity. As Trump recently said, everything woke falls apart, and the world bears witness to the Biden Administration failing in every conceivable way.
