Chelsea Clinton Aims For Powerful Spot Inside Kamala White House

According to individuals who spoke to the New York Post, Chelsea Clinton wants to become an ambassador if Kamala Harris wins the presidency in November. The United Kingdom would be her top diplomatic posting option.

An insider close to Clinton told the site, “Chelsea truly wants to be the ambassador to the UK.” “Bill and Hillary were courting favor when they came out in favor of Kamala’s presidential run inside the first five minutes.”

The insider claims that the Clintons have “worked on this concept for a long time” and want her admitted to St. James’s Court.

The insider said that the 44-year-old former first daughter, who serves as vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, would like a job in neighboring France, just across the English Channel.

A former British embassy official, now stationed in London, told the Post, “I can easily believe that the UK ambassadorship is an aim for Chelsea, although she is a bit junior yet — and London normally goes to a huge contributor or fundraiser.”

Clinton also mentioned Chelsea’s goal of living in the UK, saying, “Of course, it’s fantasy land.”

“I’ve heard for a long time that Chelsea has been optimistic for an ambassadorship,” said a second commenter, who also said that Chelsea would be open to ambassadorships in other nations.

Chelsea, the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, formerly attended the University of Oxford while residing in the United Kingdom.

History demonstrates that those with greater experience usually acquire these prominent jobs.

According to the Independent, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg apparently declined the position, but businesswoman Jane Hartley, 74, has been the ambassador to the UK since 2022.

In addition to serving as Obama’s ambassador to France and Monaco, Hartley has been a key Democratic Party fundraiser, allegedly contributing half a million dollars to Obama’s campaign fund.
