A fresh survey has shown that former President Donald Trump has defeated President Biden in Wisconsin, awarding him control of all seven crucial swing states. This comes only a day after a poll showed him unseating Biden in Michigan.
The Republican is leading the Democrat by 3 points, 45%-42%, in Wisconsin, a state that Biden won by 1 point in 2020 after Trump won it in 2016 to complete his stunning triumph over Hillary Rodham Clinton. This information comes from Emerson College Polling/The Hill.
And when independents like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. enter the race, Trump’s lead increases to 41%–37% in Wisconsin, while Kennedy’s takes a point off.
The survey analysis stated, “Since January, Biden’s support has declined by three points, while Trump’s support has climbed by one.”
As per InteractivePolls, the X site, “Trump now leads Joe Biden among all seven swing states.” Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania are those states.
The economy is the main concern in Wisconsin, and Trump is the favorite to address it. According to Emerson Executive Director Spencer Kimball, “Voters who perceive the economy to be the number one issue break for Trump over Biden, 57% to 24%.”
He said that Trump’s legal issues and Biden’s advanced age are contributing factors.
Sixty-two percent of voters believe that President Biden’s age makes them seriously question his ability to win their support in 2024, while thirty-nine percent say they don’t give it any thought. According to Kimball’s study, 56% of voters are skeptical of Trump’s criminal indictments, and 44% do not think they will have a significant impact on their vote.
