MONTAGE: Police Brutally Enforce Masks and Social Distancing Rules

One of the most insipid developments throughout the entire pandemic is how the entire “free” world warped the mission of law enforcement.

In the United States, we saw many examples of people being confronted by police for frivolous reasons relating to lockdown policy. Americans were routinely detained for either refusing to wear a mask, or simply for the criminalized act of standing alone outdoors without one.

It wasn’t just an economic shutdown — it was an attack on civil liberties.

Things are even more chilling outside of the U.S., where constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms are not a legal precedent. As you’ll see in the video below, police officers throughout the English-speaking world have been tasked with enforcing truly draconian statutes. In one example, a British woman who was scheduled to have an ultrasound was arrested in her home for being caught in violation of lockdown policies — as well as making a few naughty Facebook posts.

The scenes portray a world that many of us believed could never exist in a country calling itself a democracy. Many of us may still feel that this simply can’t happen in the United States of America. For those that believe this, consider how far we have come in just 12 months. More importantly, consider how many Americans have not only allowed it to happen, but are still actively calling for said policies to continue.

This is not a world that should be allowed to exist.

Here’s the Daily Wire with the disturbing compilation.
