The Scottish government has allowed the private information of patients who have signed up for the vaccine passports, to have their data shared with Amazon and Microsoft.
The National Health Service (NHS) uses a mobile app, where patients’ personal medical information is shared with companies including Amazon, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Royal Mail and an AI facial recognition firm.
Of course those who have the vaccine passport app, were not made aware that their personal information would be shared in such a way.
Commenting on the Daily Record report that broke this news, Sam Grant of the privacy advocate group Liberty said:
“Vaccine passports create a two-tier society and already many people in Scotland have been coerced into getting a vaccine passport in order to attend events and access certain parts of society.”
Grant added, “It’s extremely concerning that, in doing so, data has been shared with third parties without people having the option to opt out or without even being made aware that this is happening. This only furthers the wide concerns people already have around vaccine passports.”
“We all want to keep each other safe and Liberty has always supported reasonable and proportionate measures to combat Covid but vaccine passports are not a solution.”
Scottish Liberal Democrat party leader, Alex Cole-Hamilton, also stated that he and his party “have repeatedly warned the Government that data protection is virtually non-existent – a simple screenshot was enough to bypass whatever ‘security measures’ the system had in place.”
“The launch was a shambles and the IT system struggled to cope,” Cole-Hamilton explained, adding “Everyone has the right to medical privacy; nobody should ever have to provide part of their medical history to a bouncer or a series of private companies. That is just simply absurd.”
Many nations across the globe have adopted the vaccine passport system, one problem that questions the vaccines passports validity is the never ending need for more shots and boosters, how is it credible to have them, if they’re constantly out of date?
Data clearly shows that the “vaccines” are largely ineffective and do not stop the recipient from catching, spreading or dying from the virus.
Adverse reactions are being reported many times over now, everyday a new tragedy occurs, relating to those who have just been jabbed. Heart attack, blood clotting and strokes are just a few of the ‘rare’ reactions now afflicting the vaccinated.
Now people are losing the right to keep their private information private. Why these companies would need the information shared with them in the first place, raises questions and red flags.
The sharing of a person’s personal medical information is a breach of privacy and up until 2020, was something feverishly protected. Not anymore.
Scottish Conservatives’ Murdo Fraser said: “There have been serious data privacy concerns with the SNP’s vaccine passport app since the word go. The news that users’ personal data will be shared with so many private companies is extremely worrying”.
“This will only serve to further erode public trust in the SNP’s shambolic vaccine passport scheme.”
And he is not wrong. Trust in the Healthcare industry is at an all time low and there was a point in time when doctors and nurses were the top of the list for most trusted professions. This lack of trust from the public is not going to help the growing vaccine hesitancy being seen around the world.
