Texas Continues to Fight Its Own War on the Border, Two Human Smugglers Apprehended

While America is distracted by what’s happening in two European countries far away, a war is raging on the Southern Border, where Texas is under siege from Cartels, who are smuggling humans across the border into Laredo.

A video has been released of Public Safety Troopers and National Guard soldiers, apprehending a pair human smugglers.

In the video, it shows a pursuit and it ends when the human smugglers bail, leaving the migrants, some of whom were children.

The driver failed to yield to a traffic stop, leading to a pursuit by the trooper. It turned dangerous when the driver and his accomplice bailed out of the vehicle, leaving it moving on its own with the people inside. The video was tweeted by the Texas DPS South Texas Region.

The dash cam from the trooper shows her pursuing the suspect, until she realized the vehicle was still moving. The trooper and two Texas Military Department soldiers then chased the vehicle on foot.

The trooper eventually caught up to the vehicle and proceeded with a felony stop procedure, until she realized that the occupants of the vehicle were three smuggled adults and two children.

Officials from DPS reported that those who were arrested were a scout and an alleged human smuggler.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbot, initiated Operation Lone Star, a border security mission which he ordered in effect after Texas’ borders have been subjected to the constant onslaught of illegal migrants.

Over 1,000 DPS troopers are involved with Operation Lone Star and more than 10,000 Texas Military Department soldiers and airmen.

Gov. Abbot told Breitbart Texas during an interview that, “There are lives that have been lost because of the Biden administration’s refusal to secure the border,” with the Gov. adding, “Conversely, there are lives that have been saved because of the fentanyl and other drugs that we have seized.”

Gov. Abbot also added that Texas has not only made an impact on drugs coming into the country, but human smuggling and human trafficking too.

“There’s horrific human trafficking going on that Texas has been able to interdict, stop, and prevent the human traffickers — or better, arrest the human traffickers,” the governor stated.

“Anybody that says we’re not doing anything down here, to be honest, doesn’t care about human traffickers. They do not care about fentanyl. They do not care about the smugglers. They do not care about the endangerment they’re putting these ranchers in,” he continued. “Either they’re in complete denial, or they simply do not care about what’s going on.”

Millions have poured across the border since Joe Biden took office in 2021. It doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon and with the weak policies that currently exist, things are going to get a lot worse very soon.

Perhaps more attention and care would be given to America’s own borders, but that would be far too much to expect from an administration that obviously hates America.
