The same media that slung dis-proven lies about Donald Trump is telling us that Joe Biden is doing a wonderful job. According to Zogby Analytics, at least 60% of Americans believe the media is protecting Biden from scrutiny. Even Biden voters and Democrats say the media is positively spinning Biden news at a rate of 55%.
In other words, the bulk of Americans are catching on to what conservatives knew as a fact for years at this point.
The mainstream, corporate media has been working under the influence of big finance, the military, and corporations to propagandize the American public for generations. You don’t have to take our word for it. Just look up Project Mockingbird and you’ll learn how the CIA has long embedded its agents within news networks across the country in order to sway public perceptions. If you ask what their end objective is, well, it’s hard to say that it would be entirely in anyone’s interest to deceive them.
If you look at the greatest success of Project Mockingbird, it would have to be the alteration of the meaning of the word “conspiracy.” The word means secret collaboration. Its root and suffix mean “breathe-together,” (con = “with,” and spire = “breathe”). But if you heard the word on mainstream news today for the first time, chances are you would believe conspiracy means “delusion.” It does not.
Since 2016, Americans have rapidly been catching onto the fact that the mainstream press is not there to inform them, but to push a war agenda, and to keep Americans in a constant state of fear in which constructive reasoning is very difficult. In fact, we have reported many times on the abolition by the Obama administration of laws that forbade propagandizing the American public. It is now legal for a news outlet to promote false claims and ideas that benefit political leaders, political agents, and political bodies. We owe this to Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
While Americans may be distracted, tired, confused, and misled – they are not stupid – at least, no more stupid than any other group of people. Our research shows that more than half of the American public knows that CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and even Fox News is not there to tell us the truth. Americans know that these entities exist primarily to serve corporate interests and that these corporate interests control policy decisions through financial contributions.
In recent days, we’ve seen Biden allude to being allowed to call only on pre-selected reporters at press conferences. We’ve seen him confuse the names of countries in front of leaders like Vladamir Putin, and we’ve even seen him stagger confusedly at the G7 summit and have to be rescued by his wife. Across the board, the poll shows that people of all political persuasions believe Biden is taking credit for Trump’s accomplishments.
For now, we’re stuck with him and with the shadow of a possible Harris presidency. It’s hard to imagine how a nation that believes the person in the highest seat of authority is an incompetent implant can move forward with a clear conscience.
