Tony Bobulinski, a retired lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and a former business associate of Hunter Biden, told Fox News that the Biden family was not concerned at all about the former vice president’s ties to his son Hunter’s unscrupulous business deals and how it could endanger a future presidential campaign.
Bobulinski told host Tucker Carlson on the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show this week that in 2017, he had expressed concerns to Joe Biden’s brother Jim Biden, about Joe Biden’s alleged ties to a joint venture with a Chinese energy firm.
Bobulinski, was also the former CEO of SinoHawk Holdings, which he indicated was a partnership between the CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming and Joe and Hunter Biden.
“I remember saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this?’ ‘Aren’t you concerned?’” he told the Fox TV host.
He said that Jim Biden just chuckled.
“‘Plausible Deniability,’ he said it directly to me in a cabana at the Peninsula Hotel,” Bobulinski said.
The former Biden business partner also described how an alleged meeting with Joe Biden, requested by the Bidens, took place on May 2, 2017, which Fox News has already reported proof of via text messages indicating such a meeting.
“They were sort of wining and dining me and presenting the strength of the Biden family to get me engaged and to take on the CEO role to develop SinoHawk in the U.S. and around the world in partnership with CEFC,” he said.
He went on to talk about how Joe Biden arrived for a Milken conference at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and the details about how he was introduced by Jim and Hunter Biden to Joe.
“I didn’t request to meet with Joe” Biden, he said. “They requested that I meet with Joe [Biden]. They were putting their entire family legacy on the line. They knew exactly what they were doing.”
Bobulinski was even curious as to why the former vice president would want to meet with him.
“Why on 10:38 on the night of May 2 would Joe Biden take time out of his schedule to take time with me, behind a column so people could not see us, to have a discussion with his family and my family and business at a very high level?” he said.
The May 2, 2017 meeting took place 11 days before an email dated May 13, 2017 included a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in a deal with a Chinese energy firm. It identified Hunter Biden as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” referencing now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Company.
The email also includes a message that “Hunter [Biden] has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details. Bobulinski identified “the big guy” as Joe Biden.
In addition, Bobulinski said he was told by CEFC that it was a deal worth $10 million that included a $5 million loan to the Bidens and a $5 million contribution to capitalize SinoHawk Holdings.
All of this and Biden is still denying being involved with his son’s business dealings at all.
“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life,” Joe Biden lied at a presidential debate last week.
