Censorship: Twitter Directly Meddling in 2020 Elections

The country was torn apart for two years because of the Democrat-orchestrated hoax about Russian collusion and election meddling in 2016. After slandering President Donald Trump and undermining the White House at a taxpayer expense of nearly $40 million, Twitter unabashedly censors fact-based information about Biden family corruption and blocking Trump campaign officials. No clearer First Amendment violation exists than the left-wing interference by the social media platform.

“After three years of anonymously sourced, disproven stories with no evidence pushed by CNN, The New York Times, Buzzfeed, the Washington Post — just to name a few — about Trump, Twitter suddenly decides that a story that makes Biden look bad is what they should edit,” conservative comedian Tim Young reportedly quipped.

When the New York Post broke the bombshell report that Hunter Biden’s laptop contained damning emails and documents indicating high-level international corruption linked to his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, Twitter acted as a surrogate. The social media platforms blocked posts related to the report and prevented it from going viral. Political experts believe that Twitter not only meddled in the free flow of credible election information, but it effectively made an illegal in-kind donation to the Biden campaign in the process.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey went on the record stating that his liberal employees may have overreached after the damage was done. But his apologies and actions run contrary to actually fixing the problem or reducing the constant friction Republicans face on the platform.

“Our communication around our actions on the @nypost article was not great,” Dorsey tweeted. “And blocking URL sharing via tweet or DM with zero context as to why we’re blocking: unacceptable.”

But his corporation went even further, shuttering the New York Post’s account, demanding all traces of the credible report were banished. More recent reports indicate that at least one whistleblower has come forward with a treasure trove of emails and documents that point to a concerted effort by Joe and Hunter Biden, as well as business associates in their orbit, to leverage the ex-VP’s position for money. One report states that the “big man” gets 10 percent of a corrupt deal. It’s obvious to most the reference is to Joe Biden.

“If there was a policy about hacked documents not being allowed on Twitter, why hasn’t every Wikileaks or Edward Snowden post been banned? Twitter and Jack have pulled back the curtain 100 percent now,” Young reportedly commented. “If it’s a negative story about Trump, including something as ridiculous and unfounded as the pee tape story, they’ll make it trend. If it’s about Biden or the Democrats, they’ll do anything they can to suppress it, including silencing a major media organization.”

After suffering tough criticism from even left-leaning media sources, Twitter pretended to have curbed its anti-Trump censorship efforts. But it’s impossible to take Dorsey’s word because Twitter turned right around and blocked the account of Trump Campaign Press Secretary Hogan Gidley for sharing information that he received a mistaken ballot in the mail.

“Got ‘my’…uh wait…no… ‘Daniel’s’ ballot in the mail?!? Who is that? Apparently, it’s a former tenant who hasn’t lived in the unit for 8 YEARS!!! But yeah, sure…the mainstream media is correct…unsolicited vote-by-mail is ‘totally safe,’” Gidley mocked on Twitter.

His account was promptly shut down, preventing him from communicating directly with voters on the social media platform. Needless to say, Biden and his surrogates have pushed false allegations on a daily basis without even a reprimand. The question remains, what are everyday Americans going to do about it?
