DOJ Defeated! Trump Case Dismissed

Because the Department of Justice mishandled crucial evidence preservation, Judge Aileen Cannon indefinitely postponed Special Counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of Donald Trump using secret documents. The verdict severely damages Smith and the DOJ, casting doubt on the case’s future.

This latest trial delay could determine if the issue is settled in time for the election.

“The postponement adds another setback to the prosecution’s already lengthy process; Cannon has not even scheduled a new trial date, so it is unclear whether the case will go to trial before the election. Prosecutors maintain that “intra-box document sequencing” does not affect the defendants’ ability to construct their case, but the former president has effectively halted a crucial debate over which secret papers Trump and his co-defendants intend to present during their trial.

“Cannon has not provided a revised timeline for the problem, and it may take months to address the handling of sensitive information during the trial.”

It is quite ironic that Smith’s team embarrassed themselves by admitting to the judge that he had tampered with the documents—the very same thing for which the Special Counsel is seeking to imprison the former president.

The prosecution insisted that the papers were still in their original boxes, but they eventually had to admit that the order had changed since the FBI seized them from Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home in August 2022.

My mistake. Maybe we should assign you a special attorney, Mr. Smith.

According to Cannon, the “myriad and linked pre-trial” concerns made the May 20 trial start date impossible. Conclusions drawn from her decision:

Cannon wrote that once the court resolves the matters before it, a separate order will reset the trial date of May 20, 2024, and the associated calendar call to respect the defendants’ right to due process and the American people’s interest in the far administration of justice.

This is hardly the only instance of lawfare that Trump is encountering with the Department of Justice, Democratic Attorneys General, and District Attorneys who are stirring up controversy.

It appears that Fulton County, Georgia, DA Fani Willis has committed some severe ethical errors in her handling of the election tampering case. Fani Willis has committed some severe ethical errors in her handling of the election tampering case. Judge Juan Merchan allowed porn artist Stormy Daniels to ramble on about risqué topics that were unrelated to the main allegations, which is putting a damper on Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s ridiculous “hush money” case about the classification of company costs in accounting records. This setback is the most embarrassing thing that has happened so far.

The Department of Justice is now trying to cover its tracks.

  1. HMM … SEE … IT’S ALL COMING OUT IN THE WASH ! MORE DIRTY LAUNDRY IS BEING CLEANED UP !!!! AMERICANS ARE SICK AND TIRED OF BIDEN’S DEMORAT EGOTISTICAL SOCIALIST AGENDA. DEMS ONLY CARE ABOUT GETTING REELECTED TO MAKE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES NO MATTER THE COST TO TAXPAYERS !!! GET RID OF ALL OF THE DIRTY SCUMBAGS OUT THERE !!! THE END IS COMING, THEY ALL KNOW IT, AND ARE SCARED TO DEATH OF WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THEM WHEN THEY ARE JAILED !!! TRUMP 2024 !!!

  2. Because of all the witch hunt bogus cases against Trump, the longer they continue, the more the people love him for standing up against the Democrat corruption that has given in to the Democrat Globalist communist controlled left.
Trump stands with the far right because “HE IS RIGHT” and he puts America First not last!

  3. People, even some Democrats are beginning to realize why all this garbage against Trump is nothing but crooked politicians trying to stop him from running because there is no way they can win another stolen election. They think people are as stupid as they are.

  4. Jack smith should be disbarred now. He is a communist to American Law in all forms. He also should be arrested for his psart in the scam and depending on him telling who running him the time that he serves

  5. This sham, like all the other Trump trials, will fail bigtime. Trump will win a landslide in November and his revenge will be legion!

  6. The headline is misleading. The case is on hold, as the prosecution mishandled the evidence. They seemed to have too much time on their hands, and have mixed up the order of the exhibits and their labels.

I believe this is about President Trump mishandling the documents, which he had a right to possess under the Presidential Records Act. Biden was found to have documents in his garage, and in an office (paid for by the Chinese) at the University of Pennsylvania. He had no right to those documents, as he was a Senator or Vice President when he acquired them. But he won’t be charged, because he’s a elderly man who is forgetful.

  7. The White House must be beginning to panic as the multiple cases begin to unravel after their concerted efforts to make the trials block Trump’s campaign efforts! Why did the prosecution have to visit the White House prior to the start of the trial, was this where they planned to stifle the elections before they start by placing limitations on his freedom of speech so they can jail him at time their whims say he is gaining voters?
