Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, said on Tuesday during a Newsmax interview that “2024 is going to surprise everybody.”
“There’s a lot of people that are missing Trump, and I think every single day that Biden messes up our nation, I think it further incentivizes my father, and frankly, our entire family to do it again,” Eric Trump said during “Greg Kelly Reports.”
“I think 2022 is going to be an absolute bloodbath for the Democrats. I think we’re absolutely going to do incredibly well, and I think 2024 is going to surprise everybody.”
The former president’s son spoke boldly about the damage inflation has caused for Americans, noting it will play a big role in the next election.
“You see what’s happening at commodity prices. You see what is happening with inflation around the world. You see what’s happening with Putin literally hacking our country, the lack of respect,” Eric Trump said.
He also described the border crisis as a major concern among Americans. “You see what’s happening with the mess that’s the southern border. Millions of people coming over the southern border, crime is spiking all throughout the country, and I could go on and on.”
Trump’s bold prediction during the interview noted, “This guy (Biden) is making it easy with his incompetence, and we’re going to walk through that door. I’m telling you; we’re going to going to walk through that door.”
He may be right. Though his father has yet to announce a 2024 run for the White House, he continues to rank high in polling. Many other potential GOP candidates are waiting for Trump to decide before they choose whether to run. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, for example, has deferred the question regarding his own run, especially as he remains a strong Trump supporter.
Trump has also signaled his future intent through some of his coming plans. This weekend, the former president will appear at his first rally after leaving the White House for an event in Ohio.
In addition, he has recently announced a tour with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that will include multiple stops in Florida and Texas near the end of 2021.
These events, in addition to ongoing statements and interviews, all point in one direction: Trump will run again in 2024 for the White House.
When he does, the nation will go wild with MAGA fever, while mainstream media will go into Trump-hate overdrive.
The left will call everything Trump does racist in predictable fashion. Protests will scale up on all sides, and who wins will be a major controversy no matter the actual vote.
But for now, we can sit back and speculate while Biden bows to China and Russia, destroys the economy and leaves the border open.
Or we can step it up and continue to do what we can to make America better. You don’t have to wait. You can still live values that make America great wherever you are today.
