Feminists are Now Ruining Christmas Carols

Christmas may be behind us, but we cannot allow ourselves to forget how radical feminists tried to ruin yet another holiday tradition.

In a video recently released by Ben Shapiro, the Daily Wire founder addresses the accusation that the classic Christmas carol “Baby It’s Cold Outside” has some sexual harassment undertones.

There has been a lot of discussion about the lyrics and, as such, there has been a lot of criticism that has emerged. One of the lines that appears the most controversial right now is where the female voice in the song says, “hey, what’s in this drink?”

People are claiming that this line shows that the male in the song is date raping the female. However, in reality, that is not what the lyric is about at all. In order to really understand the context, you have to go back to when it was originally written. During that time, it was not considered to be ok for a female to stay the night at a man’s place if they were not married, which is why in the song the woman is asking what is in the drink.

Shapiro takes it a step further from advocating for the innocence of the song, and then talks about the far more profane songs that are currently on the top 40 list.

Do you think modern music can be judged the same way? Watch the video below and decide for yourself.
