Hunter Biden Accused of Smoking Crack Inside a DC Strip Club

At this point, it would be harder to make up stories that make the Bidens look bad than to simply look at their actual behavior.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is, for whatever reason, the permanent frontrunner in the Democratic Party’s presidential primary. Despite a large field of candidates — even after four rounds of debates and several drop outs already — Biden is still the “default” Democrat at this point.

There are a lot reasons for this. For one, Biden is still perceived as a moderate, and he’s running against people like Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, both of whom want to scrap private healthcare for Medicare-for-All, which apparently applies to illegal immigrants as well as American citizens. Pretending that this plan is feasible or sustainable is fantasyland. But the bigger reason is that Biden is still linked with the Obama legacy. After all, Barack Obama remains the best thing that has ever happened to the Democratic Party.

Remember: the Obama coalition appeared to re-draw the electoral map. The former president’s centrist manner of speaking (which did not match his governing policies) resonated well with a lot of Americans — many of whom found themselves voting for President Donald Trump in 2016. Biden is trying to present himself as the heir-apparent to this coalition. And despite his constant gaffing, it’s working.

But every candidate has his or her Achilles Heel. For Biden, it isn’t his hair sniffing or his hilariously defunct mental capacities — it’s his son, Hunter.

Hunter Biden has been the subject of controversy for months now. During his father’s time as Barack Obama’s number two, he landed a prominent advisory role for a Ukrainian energy company, for which he had no experience to speak of. Now, he’s in even more trouble: apparently, his personal habits are a bit extreme to say the least.

Here’s Tim Pool with the details.
