UFC personality and comedian Joe Rogan, who hosts the world’s most popular podcast, shocked his left-wing audience when he stated that he would rather vote for President Donald Trump than presumed Democrat presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden.
After making the statement during a live broadcast, Rogan then went on to praise the president for how he has handled his immense responsibilities while belittling the former Vice-President for being unable to “handle anything.”
It’s not the first time that Joe Rogan has bashed Biden for being unable to communicate clearly. He called out the former VP out in March when he infamously tried to quote a line from the Declaration of Independence, but was unable to finish it. Rogan hammered Biden for months, but this he has hinted at voting for President Trump.
As Rogan accurately points out, Biden’s mental prowess isn’t what it once was, and there is no telling what he would be like after a year in office. He then points out that the last two presidents, Former President Barack Obama and Former President George W. Bush, all aged rapidly while in office. It was visibly evident that their responsibilities weighed on them and affected their physical health. Obviously, this is a bad omen for Joe Biden — who repeatedly shows signs of cognitive decline and dementia whenever he makes any sort of public statement or appearance.
While Rogan’s blunt comments are likely to offend people he tends to agree with, he’s not the only Democratic voter who is wary of supporting for someone who can barely remember where he. Eric Weinstein, a liberal political commentator who also works at the managing director for Thiel Capital, has stated there is no viable candidate for president. Others have floated the idea of dumping the former VP in favor of nominating New York Governor Andrew Cuomo who, for all his faults and weaknesses, at least has full use of all his mental faculties.
It’s hard to know what will happen between now and the Democratic National Convention in August. However, what can be said for certain is that there are plenty of Democrats who, like Joe Rogan, feel that the DNC has made them look like morons by pushing a candidate that is obviously not up to the task.
Rogan, who has referred to himself as “center-left” several times on his podcast, doesn’t enjoy the best reputation with far-left “social justice warriors.” Guests on his podcast vary wildly, and have included conservative political figures such as Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw and commentator Ben Shapiro — as well as progressives such as Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Earlier this year, Rogan made headlines when he said he would “probably vote for Bernie.”
