Last March, a young boy name Fore Putnam appeared on Fox News in order to read a letter that he had written to President Trump in the hope that the President would see his interview and respond. Rather than requesting something for himself, though, the boy was appealing to the President on behalf of his father, Trae Putnam, who needed a kidney transplant in order to survive.
President Trump soon responded to the Fore’s letter, telling him that he admired his courage and determination and promising to keep his father in his thoughts and prayers. A couple of months ago, the boy’s father received the kidney transplant that he needed. Appearing again on Fox and Friends, the father said that he has been feeling better ever since.
After the father and son’s first appearance on Fox and Friends, Fox set up a GoFundMe page to help them raise the money they needed for the transplant. The campaign was able to raise $48,000, helping Fore’s father receive the money that he needed for his transplant. Thanks to the generosity of Fox viewers, the extra publicity that Trump gave to Fore’s story, and the determination of a young boy to save his father, Trae Putnam is now on the path to complete recovery.
