As troubling as it may sound to say out loud, the Clintons are nothing short of a crime family. They always have been and probably always will.
From the earliest days that the now-disgraced ex-president appeared on the national political scene, rumblings of financial wrongdoing echoed. Democrat hardliners were willing to turn a deaf ear to them, and the complicit left-wing media failed to do its job and investigate. The first major story to break that raised the nation’s eye was Whitewater, a land deal gone wrong that prompted a criminal investigation. Participant David Hale, a low-level Arkansas judge and banker, claimed that former Gov. Bill Clinton pressured him into issuing an illegal loan to a business partner. Whitewater partner Susan McDougal did 18 months behind bars, eight of which were reportedly in solitary confinement. But the Clintons walked.
The scandal raised red flags that Bill and Hillary were in politics for the money, not public service. It’s difficult to say whether getting away with their first scam emboldened them, or if corruption is just part of their nature. But from that day to this, Bill, Hillary, and most recently, Chelsea, have been cashing in on their political clout.
Recent reports indicate that the former First Daughter has pulled down upwards of $9 million for lounging around on a single internet investment board since 2011. According to credible media reports, Chelsea garnered a $50,000 annual retainer and $250,000 in IAC/InterActiveCorp stock that has bloomed into a $9 million haul.
According to documents filed with the SEC, Chelsea was elevated to the paying board because of “her broad public policy experience and keen intellectual acumen, which together the Board believes continue to bring a fresh and youthful perspective to IAC’s businesses and initiatives.” Obviously, that statement was easier to put on paper than safe with a straight face.
It seems Chelsea was set on the money-for-doing-nothing path promptly after coming of age. Everyday Americans may recall that she was handed a ridiculous $600,000 salary from NBC News in 2013 and 2014, in what appeared to be a clear political offering to the Clinton mafia. Hillary was Secretary of State until 2013 and the expected Democrat front-runner to succeed Obama.
Hillary’s time in the State Department was financially troubling. The rampant pay-to-play scandals sent enriched uranium to Russian oligarchs in exchange for thinly veiled speaking fees to her ex-president husband, and donations to the grotesquely corrupt Clinton Foundation. Foreign entities were routinely treated with favoritism, as long as they dropped millions into the foundation’s coffers.
Whistleblower complaints as recently as 2017 also indicate the Clintons were able to evade paying foundation taxes and used the money as a personal slush fund.
“There is probable cause that the Clinton Foundation has run afoul of IRS rules regarding tax-exempt charitable organizations and has acted inconsistently with its stated purpose,” MDA Analytics reportedly stated. “The Foundation should be investigated for all of the above-mentioned improprieties. The tax rules, codes, statutes, and the rule of law should and must be applied in this case.”
Former FBI fraud expert Jeffrey Danik stated the complaint was “a very good roadmap for investigation.”
“Given that (Special Counsel) Mueller got the OK to investigate Michael Cohen and his attorney-client communications with President Trump, I imagine that hurdle could be overcome under the crime-fraud exception,” he reportedly said.
MDA received pleasant letters from Obama IRS officials stating the complaint was received. Nothing was done to make the Clintons play by the same rules as other Americans, and the money-grabs continue.
These days, Hillary appears to be putting a new spin on an old Clinton trick. Bill pilfered off nearly $18 for serving as an “honorary chancellor” for Laureate International Universities. Laureate, a for-profit organization, donated millions to the Clinton Foundation over the years. Hillary now has a do-nothing chancellor job of her own. She reportedly accepted an invitation to become the first female chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland. According to the university’s own tweet, her duties will include, “Presiding at degree congregations,” acting as an “Ambassador” and “Advisor, available to the @QUBVChancellor and senior management as a sounding board and to provide counsel and guidance.”
In other words, the Clinton crime family won’t stop selling political favors until they’re behind bars.
